Ok, updated Henal's ride - reason was base ride % is dex x3 which will not always be in increments of 5%.

Dealing with the spirit is going to be tricky, best if we can negotiate with it....

In the IC thread, by "Have any of you been taught the ways of reading the earth and the air?" Kobal means "Do any of you have the Earthsense skill?"

It seems to me:
- shamans-to-be are better suited for this;
- Haratt has a sun disk;
- Kobal has the helmet but he can pass it to someone else who has Earthsense, so (unfortunately) he's probably the most "disposable" in this situation.

Kobal is willing to be convinced otherwise though  :P  Hope one of you is good at negotiating  :)

A question regarding communication with familiars and distance. Allied spirits have permanent mindlink and so distance is less of an issue, but for familiars do they have to be in earshot to speak with their masters?
