Re: OOC 9

Ambush them. They are enemies and we want to avoid them coming back this way in force. I think they've detected the High Llamas and are going to get help.

Tulox says they are moving slowly and in no rush.

If you avoid them will you stay away from the ridge? Or will you go and watch them?

Scrub that question Ohanzee is already there :)

Don't worry about sneaking actually, as you lot get there first.

Aw don’t go taking arguments away, need all the persuasion possible for these wild fowl Thunderbirds ;)

Hmmm I feel a “Brave Brave Sir Robin” type song coming on.

Ohanzee is still going to sneak forward and take a look anyway.

We are approaching the thread limit btw

Shimmer
Countermagic
Leap onto beast trying strike rider with axe and knock him off.
I posted back in the tower that Ohanzee had fixed a twine loop to the haft of his axe and his hand will be through this so that he can just let go of it if he needs the hand for holding on.
He’ll aim to leap/drop right behind the rider and cave his head in, but whatever works, just pushing him off would do so that he can take command of the mount.

If Ohanzee insists on starting this fight, then Dazzle, lightwall, Protection, and then slinging.

Re: OOC 9

It begins to look as if we're going to start something.

GM has my general combat intent (not going to spoil any surprises by doing it in public this time, but you can be assured I'm not planning anything "exotic").

If any of your characters remembers that Hoskar has rope and wants to try any skulduggery with it (nooses from above?) he'll hand it over, but he has no plans like that of his own.

Re: OOC 9

Im going to wait and see what the others will say.

But it looks like a scrap.

Tarnessh  where will you put the lightwall? What will the purpose of casting this be? I will allow 1d2+1 sables to be targeted by the dazzle charm you are using the sun and the disc. Due to the sun being behind you and the trees you will need to get over to the other side of the path and in the high grass.

Knockbacks would work, as would unarmed grapples.

Everyone leaping will need a jump roll. I will  roll them to keep some suspense.

Kobal and Salen will cast the one javelin they each carry and will then jump.

Melock will be waiting till they have all gone past, then attack the last one.
Protect 1
Bladesharpe 1 on kukri
Vigor
Armour wise he's only got his base layer on. The stuff thats listed as underneath on his character sheet. I cant remember if he was wearing his bronze helm and I'm on my phone so searching is a pain.

Taya will guard Peat, thats if he hasn't run away when he met her :)
Hopefully the cats will stay near by.

Akala, where will bouncer be?

I'm thinking maybe Taya should have a hunger rune to roll against, if she wants to go against her nature.

Feel free to chuck me in some "unarmed" if the chance arises - that would fit in nicely with my general intent here.
...assuming we attack at all - I'm still not gung-ho on this occasion.

Hmmm, then I'll wait until the Sables are distracted by the others and try to move to the other side, then use Dazzle. Can I do that in one turn? I generally put up the lightwall where we are firing from, since it makes it harder for enemies to see where precisely the shots are coming from.

Looks like most folk are jumping straight into melee after firing a missile, and if you cross over to the other side there'd be no one up there.

You can cross over the path in one round.

personally I think you're all nuts.
completely barking mad.

We couldn't even take the earlier scouting group when we were fully armed and armoured.
Now you want to take on the same group at a substantial disadvantage.

They will have spirits out looking already.
Our ability to have surprise will be negligible.
But.... THUNDERBIRDS are go!

I just had a thought, we could also go FAB when we're ready.

Fight All Broo
FAB!

I don't really understand why you just dumped a rubble runner on Peat when he has three hunting dogs with him.

Make a POW roll.

That's good enough for me. The dogs will get under control and won't bark.

What's not good is the 2 I just rolled for the Sables listen roll.

Re: OOC 9

Akala will follow the groups lead here, as he is unused to their protocol for initiating a fight.

If it comes to fighting he will immediately give his Javelin to Amara though.

Cast:
Vigor
Countermagic
Protection
Bladesharp
Mobility

and throw a few Disruptions early.

Equipping his Bone Sword and Shield.

He will also look for the biggest guy to fight first.
