In reply to Tarnessh Listens-To-Silence (msg # 971):

"I will have nothing more to do with you until you are properly sensible." (Prof. Yaffle)

Not aimed at you personally, Tarnessh - just thought it was a fun quote and hit "reply" instead of "quote" as I didn't want to pile Pelion upon Ossa and both upon mighty Olympus in the quoting-quoting game (round 2)

I'm going to post a combat scene myself, but I might run it by the GM first.

Well after that what can I say but you can all wade in and finish them off.

Great stuff Amara! and thank you everyone else.

Just make sure you all get some wounds to show.

Anyone taking a bad wound and getting out of the fight will be respected more than if you just kick butt.

I agree. Far too silly. I have to admit though, it did make me chuckle this morning.

As the broo are pushed back, are any of the hyenas clinging on to life and need healing or are they all dead as a very dead thing?

Interesting...

His sons are chaotic. Folk get twisted.

But no, Genert was saved by the Hyenas eating him.

The Broo are Broo. You wouldn't  bring their skins back. Though a chaotic hyena....

No, Broo take the appearance of whatever thing they had been born from (Broo can basically impregnate everything and iirc, they get born via Alien-style Chestburst.) Them looking like goats is just sort of the "iconic" version of Broo, but they can look like any goddamn thing, really.

are we going to keep the hyena skin to add to Genert's reforming body, when we finally get that far or are we just going to bury them all?

Don't we bury them?
they're taboo for us to carry around aren't they?
Other nomads might not look on us well if we decide we want to carry bits of Genert around with us.

It's been a long time since I read around this but from memory hyenas are not taboo, just hated like leaping bears as a major predator of the herds.

Re: OOC number Ten

Hyena aren't taboo, but are seen as a pest that needs to be kept away from the herds.

You can bury them or take the hides and store them until you try and find Genert's palace sometime in the future. The Earth Temple would be a grand place for that.

I say take the hide and bury the corpse. Search the broo as they seem to have some of our stuff and they don't seem to be big into disease like the last lot, though take precautions of course.
