Tarnessh Listens-To-Silence:
Speaking of trade, how much to make sure that we are adequately prepared this time? I don't want to leave anything to chance after how dicey things got during that storm. So here's a shopping list of stuff that occurs to me now:
Okay :)
Tarnessh Listens-To-Silence:
-I wanna make sure that we have medicines for poison, maybe even a slave that has knowledge of herbal healing?
I will put the word out...
What type of poison?
There's
Blade venom
Manticore venom (scorpions)
Poison gas
Wyvern venom (snakes)
Spider venom
Herbal poison
Mineral poison.
Tarnessh Listens-To-Silence:
-gear for climbing
You lot have one 50m length and a 10m length in your general stores. Certain PC's have there own rope. Henal I know has 20m for example.
There's an extra 80m spare that you lot can buy from the other nomads
Tarnessh Listens-To-Silence:
-enough provisions and definitely water.
-camping supplies
-torches
You have camping gear, you'll be able to scrounge torches for the expedition so you don't run out, you'll get given trail food by the temple, enough for two weeks. Water will be a problem. You can get some from Hoofcrack and look for other sources on the way. There's really good grazing in the Twixt grasslands.
The water from the pools is drinkable by humans, though herd beasts will refuse it. It tastes disgusting.
Tarnessh Listens-To-Silence:
We should also make sure that we beseech and sacrifice to the appropriate spirits for aid, of course:
-For example, Cowpecker might help us to notice enemy ambushes (I don't mean to actually teach us the spell, just give us a little help)
-Huuruahu might be able to help us see far and could, perhaps, give us advice about spirits in that area?
That's for you lot to instigate IC. The morning before the parley would be good. The Rhinos amongst you have a small flock of Horn peckers. You ask the temple to call some for your Bison.
