Re: OOC Wastes Eleven

GM:
Ohanzee I will return to your post re entertaining the kids once this scene has finished.

The Hyena Broo only have clubs and spears and the occasional bone short sword. The large leader whom Amara killed has a nasty looking fetish tied around his left bicep. It's obviously chaotic and seems to be made up of male genitalia, and other foul things.

A search turns up half a dozen odd knotted cords with small wooden or bone handles at each end.

No worries.

I think Tarnessh can stop the bleeding on Ohanzee, it seems to be a flesh wound.

Tarnessh, can I draw your attention to...
GM:
Well after that what can I say but you can all wade in and finish them off.

Great stuff Amara! and thank you everyone else.

Just make sure you all get some wounds to show.

Anyone taking a bad wound and getting out of the fight will be respected more than if you just kick butt.

Don't you go downgrading Ohanzee's wounds to flesh wounds, they don't leave scars when healed ;)

Perhaps I meant it in the context of the Black Knight in Holy Grail then? ; P

Re: OOC Wastes Eleven

Burn the bodies, bury the Hyena after skinning them and then back to camp?

Tarnessh and Ohanzee have their Shallow water anti fly fetishes back.

Yes, I'll leave the broo to Tarnessh and whoever and do the skinning burial with whoever.

Thanks for doing that without me, actually. I was otherwise indisposed yesterday.

Re: OOC Wastes Eleven

Kobal sacrifices 2 points of POW during his knot tying ceremony.

Also, I was finally doing experience rolls earlier today.  I know that 4 ticks is an automatic 5%, but I have a lot more than 4 ticks for my attack percentage.  Do I just increase attack 5%, or increase 5% and roll further?  I assume it's just a 5% increase, but just wanted to check...

Just a 5% increase. You get an automatic ride increase of 5%, so no need to roll that one. Don't forget to roll for your thunderbird spirit's POW. If you haven't a tick for speak Praxian/Spirit speech or Earth tongue give yourself one.

Thanks.  Sorry, I've forgotten, but when rolling for the spirit's POW increase, how do I calculate the spirits "racial maximum POW"...?

As it's Waha's holy day everyone bar Amara would say some prayers to the great spirit.

I'll move us on tomorrow.

Ooooooooooooh

Edit: Also, a Desert Survival roll to see if he can identify what killed those bison.

10:01, Today: Tarnessh Listens-To-Silence rolled 68 using 1d100. Desert survival.

You've no idea what did this.

@Everyone: I've not had anyone approach nearer than 20m so far.

crap....ok, I guess I'm the volunteer.
I'll approach more closely using Earthsense to feel around me. Let me get within 5m.

the thing about random encounters is we will always poke it with a stick to make sure.

I'm not poking anything with a stick. Perfectly happy to walk away if Farsee shows me nothing clearly. I'm curious, but not that curious.

I'll wait to see what folks reaction are to Hoskar's find.
