It looks like you might have a patron of sorts which is very unexpected. I thought this Khan would be an enemy. I do like how this game twists and turns...

It's an interesting proposal and one that I might like, especially as it might resolve our access issues to the GFH and keep us all safe (especially from the Yelmalions) when we travel back and forth. The problem is, working as mercenaries detracts from our time to do other things that we need to (eg travel to pavis) and our Khan is already working for Prairie Thunder

Ohanzee is going to have to start his own clan if he goes ahead with marrying Kinope since he's going to be unwelcome in pretty much all nomad camps. The Outcasts maybe :)

Well it depends on what your achieving with the marriage, which is cleaning the water of the GFH's. Meaning a new oasis with water.

I think you might have not been about for the whole or most of the Kinope visit. There was dancing, singing, poetry, storytelling, temporary POW sacrifice by all and a permanent sacrifice of of POW to Kinope by Ohanzee with the end result that she agreed to a marriage with him as per the old tale. After this she will gift catfish to cleanse the pool.

As per the old legend though, Ohanzee must forsake Waha to fulfil the myth. Big step and one that he has said he's prepared to do on more than one occasion, but when it comes to it....

Found my "Wasted Khan" story notes. Hope to write it up tonight. Kind of committed myself to doing so IC now.

the effect Melock is aiming for is like a big dark wall to shade the hole they are in, hopefully to make it like dusk, if not night time. If he fails he'll try a stretched dark wall, which to cover the same area will be so thin it will only dim the light not block it.
Am I right in remembering this hole is 40m across?

42-45m wide. It's 50m deep. Rock Lizards live in it's eastern wall.
