Snowed under. No chance to do a credible IC today. Will support any reasonable attempt to get down there (might even support a moderately unreasonable one from Melock as Hoskar IC hasn't seen him come up with a bad plan yet).

Personally I think giving the disc to the shaman is not a good idea.

Sorry for the delay, particularly just as things were focused on Kobal.  I was busy yesterday and today catching up with some urgent work.  Hopefully I'll have more time from now on.

I have a suspicion that Ohanzee might be up to something with the disc, possibly getting Gadesha to smooth off bits of the map to make it useless, or make a fake some how.

Damn, wish I'd thought of that! Fact is if the Rangers were prepared to swap it just for him, then swapping it for him and his stuff sounds like a good deal, especially since there's a good chance they'll loose it soon anyway. Plus putting the shaman in a better bargaining position might help the Ranger's situation regarding this clan.

I love this game!

To be fair, it was originally going to be just getting Ohanzee for the disk. Now we get Ohanzee and all his stuff back. But I'll have Tarnessh try to distract and delay the dudes in there, and hopefully the Ravens will think of something.

Also, if they're weakened when they're done all that, there's nothing stopping us from just ambushing them later and taking the Golden Disk back. They're stupid foreigners!

This move has taken over my life and I haven't been able to jump back in yet.  I should be settled by Monday, so I will probably be back to the regular then.

One question I forgot to ask... Kelab Besi wants an equal man-dowry of 20 herd beasts.  I doubt Kobal has that himself.  If he doesn't, is it okay if that comes from any communal Rangers herd...?  :)  :P

Kobal's view is kind of "it's foreign sun stuff, not to do with Prax or Waha" so not *too* cut up about giving up the disk.

Big military day here in Finland. Our city is hosting the big parade and there's 20,000 Finnish soldiers on manoeuvres on the Russian border.

Last month  a million reservists got letters telling them where to report in case of war. It's not been done in over twenty years.
