Re: OOC unlucky for some

Amara,

Salen and Tarosh are up the back wall. You and Kobal were dealing with Henal on the other side of the cavern, and after being asked by Salen to go check on Hoskar I have you and Kobal with him as he died.

You don't have to be there as I can edit if you want and place you at the back wall. :)

If not unpoison him, then heal the damage from the weapon to give him a chance, or are we too late?

Re: OOC unlucky for some

I'm no expert, Amara and Tarosh, but the bugger may well be defunct. I was enjoying having form as well; and unless some Shaman type can find me and stuff me back in again that's gone for a burton.

All I can say is that some fecker among you had best keep feeding the cat I leave behind - she's probably a bit useless on her own.

"...as a kitten", you say Amara? Ohh, if I still had a body I'd so much be up for shitting in your boot for that one. :)

In reply to Four Paws (msg # 959):

the queen should be a magically powerful person, and she owes the party for saving her.
If you do get resummoned, at least your body will be easy to catch Four Paws, think of the hassle Melock will have trying to catch Taya's body :)

Re: OOC unlucky for some

We actually had another death. I had rolled dice for Tarosh and Henal and Tarosh was killed by his berserk friend. But when i came to post Tarosh had posted that he was avoiding Henal!

Lucky all round...

I suck. I just read Henals post...I guess I thought he was umm high on the poison, which is not unexpected behaviour from a Condor. I didn't realise he was dying.....

'Feed the cat'? I'm sure Mordy would enjoy a nice supper!

Or did you mean something else?

Re: OOC unlucky for some

Now I know why I avoid playing Storm Bulls, berserk is absolutely terrifying unless there is plenty of enemies to keep pointing them at.

.

Remember that Henal can talk to all the cats now so he'd probably find it hard to leave one suffering.

Hoskar you bum, what you go and die for, making Ohanzee feel guilty over our last conversation!

Oh and GM we need a new OOC thread soon apparently.

Re: OOC unlucky for some

So free the queen and see if she can do anything for Hoskar.

Then go get the cats from up on the top of the mountain and hunt down the last of the chaos harpies, though hopefully we should have help with the good harpies for this.

You mean we can't free the Queen and have all her good harpies kill the chaos ones?
Like we have to do the dirty work?

Yeesh!

And this statue may just be gold-painted, or coated, but what's a barbarian supposed to think?!

Re: OOC unlucky for some

Ohh my. Disembodied spirit here (it somehow feels less odd to post OOC as the ex-cat than as Dead Hoskar).

Sadly for you lot, I doubt if you've seen the last of my player: if the queen can't help Hoskar, he'll be petitioning to re-enter the game as someone-or-other.

Amara Brightsky:
I suck. I just read Henals post...I guess I thought he was umm high on the poison, which is not unexpected behaviour from a Condor. I didn't realise he was dying.....

[I assume for "Henal" read "Hoskar" as Henal wasn't poisoned or dying or a Condor]

I don't think you suck: I was posting on the basis of trying to keep it very obscure whether I was injured, poisoned, hallucinating, or dying. What you've just written here provides a Warm Glow to ye player as to how the posts worked. You couldn't have done anything IC anyway - Amara never saw him fall, did she?

Ohanzee Shappa:

If it's any consolation to the player OOC, Hoskar was feeling pretty good about your last conversation with him: after ages of worry, he at least knew where he stood and how he could try and make things better.
If he does come back, Ohanzee can of course be consumed with guilt all you want :)

PS in edit:

Henal Longgrass:
[...]
Then bending closer to Hoskar he speaks softly.

"Ride safely on your journey now friend Hoskar".

Thank you. Poignant touch, mon ami.

Lets hope the statue isn't a harpy with the chaos feature, appears to be made of a precious metal :)

So does seeing the Harpy queen have any effect on us?

Need to get the iron off her, but wondering if our bronze will affect it.

Not a chance. When I was doing CharGen, I was torn between an Issaries type and a Storm Bull type, but you already had Greeshar back then, so I plugged a gap.
Maybe I'll swap sexes and come back as his mum; who's very different. :)

I've notified those who have been affected.

Just waiting to give Kobal a chance to chime in.

I'd probably not start asking her too many questions straight off. Probably not what Royalty is used to. This is a bit like meeting the High Khan of your Tribe for the first time.
