....and that one's my last hallucination sequence. I'm off over the weekend anyway, and until we find out how I fare there's nowhere else to take it.

Re: OOC unlucky for some

The creature shows no sign of damage and looks to have skin as hard as plate armour.

Despite the severing blow (critical) by Henal the leg looks to still be attached

Amara Brightsky:
The die roller just loves me today.

13:51, Today: Amara Brightsky rolled 93 using 1d100.  Climb.

Maybe try calling on the gods and spirits after all it seems to be working for Henal

Chaotic feature, appears invulnerable until dead no doubt, not that we'd know that :)

As I wrote
Me:
All the time the bull-roarer spins it's eerie wail all the time calling them to the spirits in the place.

a thought came to me. Would this apply to all spirits, those recently departed a body included?

Please let me know: the answer might influence the direction any future hallucinations I come up with takes.

No, cheeky bugger :). Nice idea, which I will allow when you are a shaman.

Summoned spirits or ghosts only. Any of you die and you will be collected by your Feathered rival and brought back to your Herd, where you will reside until reborn, or summoned.

Re: OOC unlucky for some

All in all damage taken was minimal, the creature missed a lot of rolls. I had you lot dodging lots.

Chaotic stuff
It's armour was 6pt, it looked invincible, immune to 1-2 pt spells and increased siz. Hp's weren't that high as is often the case in runequest

Henal is still under a berserk spell. He had twice the normal chance to hit and two of his blows were high damage criticals. The final blow only needed 2 puts to kill the creature anyway.

Don't worry about hps lost, apart from Hoskar it's all healable with spells you have and healing herbs. The latter I will remove from folks supplies.

Everyones' fetishes were used. Taros, Kobal and Henal both have caught diseases, but I will go look at the other herby things you got and see what is what.

Ohanzee saved the day with the spirits, as they would have caused further diseases.

Hoskar made the shot of the battle, killing the shaman.

Amara your special javelin is somewhere behind in the vast cave of dark despair. It sailed past the shaman at the start of the battle.

Looks like the others need to knock Henal down and get him into a wrestling match where his lack of size should mean they are able to pin him down.

They haven't worked for you lot. Meta wise they were attuned to those braves.

Kobal will try to grapple and immobilise Henal.  He's cast Ironhand 2 on himself, and will cast Binding on Henal once Henal gets close to anyone.  Finally, he'll cast Protection 2 on himself if it appears he'll have to fight a sword wielding Henal.
