Tarnessh Listens-To-Silence:
"I do not wish to be Tada but I suggest it should be Kobal as he is to marry the chieftain's daughter."
Kobal looks around at the assembled Rangers. His first thought that one of the Rangers who had not yet played the part of Tada should take the role this time, but on reflection he couldn't help but agree that it made sense for him to make a grand entry on this occasion. "
Aye, I'll be Tada," he nods.
Sand Fox:
"It seems that whilst we have been gone there has been more inter fighting between the shaman and our chieftain. Banyak Bulu has withdrawn from the oasis with his Red warriors and is camped somewhere nearby."
Kobal smiles at the good news. The chief seemed like a reasonable man (for a Red Thorn). And this way the shaman might only receive rumours of what happened to the band he sent to the harpies, instead of any confirmed news from the Rangers.
Amara Brightsky:
Amara nodded her thanks to Nixa and Sand Fox for bringing the news "We should be careful on our approach to the Temple. Desperate men, do desperate things. It would not surprise me if he had the temerity to attack Tada, the Earth Queen and the Serpent King to try to raise his stature."
"
Ha," says Kobal, thinking of the success the Rangers had had where the shaman's men had failed, "
let him try! He will only lose more of his men."
Tarnessh Listens-To-Silence:
Amara Brightsky:
Amara pondered over the question "Perhaps Tarnessh should tell him. As a truthspeaker, Tarnessh can tell him the truth of everything that happened. Cantelas is, I believe, the kind of man that expects honesty and candour."
"I think it would be better if he heard it from his own clansmen first, though I'll certainly accompany you Tarosh."
"
Cantalas and I got on well," says Kobal, clapping
Tarosh on the shoulder. "
If you'd like me there as well, let me know."
Ohanzee Shappa:
"Of course we'll party! But I'm not sure all this lot can last a week." He grins broadly "On Wildday we'll have a special party and you're all invited of course. Melock and I will arrange it and we can make it a special bachelor party, last chance for Kobal!"
"
Ha, Thunder Birds, and bison braves, can last longer than Ravens. You will see, haha!" He doesn't reply to the offer of a Raven 'party' but instead focuses on readying Black Hoof for the day's ride, performing his standard ritual of tying a knotted rope around the beast's hoof.
