Remember we stripped naked and got painted up for the visit, so as well as being unarmored we probably don't have a full set of weaponry, just a light ceremonial 1Hander or something...
This is correct No shields and one weapon. Matrixes yes. And nooooo armour.
As for weapon, Kobal would at best have had a javelin with him, unless this wouldn't be appropriate for their ceremonies, in which case he'd had a knife with him.
Would he wearing the helmet of Emesh-Ga with him? Part of me thinks that since it Emesh-Ga is spirit from past Ages, it might've been appropriate to wear it. But if the protocol is no armour or clothing for that matter, then that's understandable.
Kobal will position himself where the Rangers are concentrated, so that a square can be formed.
His focus will be on the shaman and elemental as potentially the most dangerous enemies, the shaman in particular.
He'll cast Protection 3 on himself first, then Bladesharp 2 on his weapon. At the first sign that the shaman will release any spirits against them, he will cast Spirit Shield 1. POW will be drawn from Haaro.
He won't attack unless and until any of the enemy takes any combat action, as he doesn't want to provoke a fight if parley is possible.
He'll send a message to Haaro to warn others that they are surrounded. If any of the enemy takes any combat action, he'll yell loudly whatever he does, in the hope of attracting other pilgrims or guards at the Painted Wall.
