Hopefully I'll make it this year as I was down last year for the first time in ages

I'm going to be over that side of the pond this year :-)

Going home for Christmas :-)

Though unfortunately, I never seem to have any time to myself. Always visiting friends and family.

that's the ones from the herd we captured?

@Henal, would be nice to meet up if the chance presents its self.
@Amara, are you going to be in London?

Re: OOC thread number 17

Not London.

There's actually three possible locations I might be.

Dublin
Belfast
or
Glasgow

I fly into Dublin, but where we go from there depends on who is going to host this year.
Apparently they're all afraid of travelling to the US :-)

Re: OOC thread number 17

Well, I have had some personal bad experiences in Belfast, so if it's there, I'm not going to travel and they can visit me in Dublin. I'll just spend my time with friends instead.

The other two towns I enjoy :-)

Re: OOC thread number 17

Melock:
with that in mind, he's short 1 Thunderbird and 1 Condor for the ceremony for a full house of Feathered Rivals. Also could those attending bring a live sacrifice, something small like a lizard or such should do.

If no other Thunder Bird puts their hand up, Kobal will go and Haaro will find a suitable sized sacrifice.

cheers, though after reading the answer to the GM's question on BRP.com, I'm having to rethink the ceremony :)

Hopefully post something a bit later this evening.

So what was the upshot of the enquiry? is Granny-8-leg day a communal affair or a Shadow People special?

Re: OOC thread number 17

she's a shadow people's spirit, so no need for those of non darkness persuasion to attend.

She is the protector of a tribe of giant spiders that came from Dagori Inkarth in the Great Darkness, fought (and ate) chaos and helped people survive.

Okay, Kobal won't attend the ceremony then.  Shadow People are smelly.

No rush. you can add to those threads for as long as you like.

Folk who are attending the weddings dive in to the thread. I'll start the Waha initiation thread up to, which will involve a heroquest.

Re: OOC thread number 17

Cool picture in the Pavis thread, is that meant to be a Morokanth with a roped gern, looks more like a broo!

So did my POW roll result in a success for wifee searching, someone to look after my growing bison herd? :)

Looking forward to the Waha initiation

No wife for you, sorry. But you have Amara for a year and a day. Happy for you to find a Rhino lass in Pavis.

Looks like a Morokanth to me with a human (Orlanthi) slave.

Or a husband to go hunt for more for me?

I think I would "take care" of your herd Ohanzee....prolly by slaughtering it.

Exactly! Waha's taboo on same clan marriage has good reasoning behind it!

You'll do as a ceremonial wife though ;P

Re: OOC thread number 17

REALLY???!!!!!

Despite my association with chaos? They're just in it because they know they'll be free to hook up with other girls and my herd would be insanely big...but

AWESOME!

Can I have a harem? and a unicorn?

Actually...if I had to pick I'd go with the unicorn.

And I want to be besties with Rainbow girl just because.....
