Re: OOC 18

I saw this https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dsY...B/s1600/100_6466.JPG on a wargaming blog and thought of Amara.

I can go with the idea of Vinga as a separate goddess as I tend to think that Gloranthan canon is less fixed than a lot given the amount of times Greg has contradicted himself over the years.

Hoskar Two-Feather:
In reply to Kobal (msg # 11):

A model perhaps more akin to Sabellianism than Christian trinitarianism (i.e. two modes/aspects as opposed to two hypostases-persons in consubstantial homoousios-union), but that would certainly cover it as a viable mystery.

So, yes. What Kobal said [and I see our GM has just liked too] sounds good to me.

Fricking Hippolytus and his power games...

I miss the days when gender wasn't a thing. Orlanth was for everyone for example.

Re: OOC 18

Well, Glorantha has been changed so often.

I still believe every God is open to every worshipper. (babeester gor and men might be one exception), which is why I thought women that wanted an adventurous life would pick Orlanth.

That's why I think Vinga is quite seperate to Orlanth, they do different things.

In Prax, I think the female warrior spirit would have to be Grandmother Thorntree in her earlier days

You lot are a good 100m above the settlement. There's no track down there and the last way down was an hour back the way you came.

You haven't dropped down to the valley floor yet.

Didn't realise it was so far down, Melock will get near to the edge and look for any signs of movement or recent activity.

X is where you lot are, settlement is below. You do have a local with you and others who may have come this way before.

I'm coming down with something again. I hope it may not be the flu I had last month mutating for another go.

Re: OOC 18

You lot will come to a seasonal river that flows down via a waterfall to the valley floor below. Not far past will be a way to get down with mounts. A ride roll will be needed if you decide to ignore Angelika and go investigate the burnt stead.

Passed a Spot Hidden to notice Amara ride off  :)
Does Amara have a familiar at the moment?  I forget if she got one after the exploding kitten.

I had the same thought.  Angelika's given a direction.  And will likely be involved in any intiation test.  Even if something good comes of this, you'll need to admit to going off against orders.

It could be a test to see how far you've willing to go to help and protect the weak and innocent, maybe she wants Amara to disobey her :)

Melock made a spot hidden as well.

In reply to GM (msg # 35):

If Amara wants company, if not Melock will ride along side Angelika and try to keep her occupied by asking lots of questions about Pavis and random stuff.

He is on Stinky and if the trail looks suitable he'll stay mounted, if he goes.

@Kobal, I'm surprised you suggested Melock :)

So am I, but Melock did show interest in heading off earlier.  I wasn't sure if he was going to stick to obeying Angelika or not.  Plus, I figured that if the goal is try to scout while not being detected, hopefully a Raven might be able to help with that.

(After-thought: if Angelika's going to be upset, better it be a Thunder Bird and one Raven than, say, two Thunder Birds  :P  )
