Pink?!

Way too sissy for darktongue, you mean Purple!

12:08, Today: Ohanzee Shappa rolled 72 using 1d100.  POW x5 - Fear.
12:08, Today: Ohanzee Shappa rolled 18 using 1d100.  Disorder rune - ZZ stealing Winter Sun's fire.

So I know that he stole fire and that makes me very afraid!

Failed my POW roll. I'm not committing anyone to any course of action - away again next week although might occasionally get chance to post via the 'phone.

I know some suns make a thing of taking the hits and putting themselves back together afterwards, but in this instance I'm leaning to following Melock's run into delayed danger. Let's see what Vinga does.

Ohanzee has a very scientific spell checker

Definition of enol. : an organic compound that contains a hydroxyl group bonded to a carbon atom having a double bond and that is usually characterized by the grouping C=C(OH)

Surely a javelin to the eye would be epic here?

Yeah, a javelin to the eye would be epic, but an axe fight with no armour even more epic....

Thank heavens for mobility rune which might make it harder to hit me.

Edit: A javelin to the eye might be a little anticlimactic too.....

It makes me think of that cool fight with Achilles vs that giant of a man at the start of the Troy film.

Mobility rune, Earth Rune and your javelin skill. Magic will help. You only need to roll your javelin to hit, but the others will help as will the actual IC post. Bad dude get's a Darkness rune roll.

Ah I missed that, would have responded then had I noticed. Suffice to say that Ohanzee would have sniggered at least a little and not met your gaze since then. This is why...

Bulbous Bark:

A very rare fungus used by black elves when they must go to war. It makes the skin swell and bloat, but with the result that it provides cushioning armour against crushing weapons and against edged weapons seals the cuts so bleeding does not occur.

I never thought about how long it lasts or exactly how much damage it absorbs :)

Yeah, Ohanzee, trollkin are enlo, not enol.

I was wondering about that - whether Amara had been able to pick up armour before entering the mound.  Entering the Underworld to hunt trolls with no armour is the definition of bravery (or recklessness  :P  )

I've added a post to the House Rules thread about language colours:
link to a message in this game

Hope that's okay.  Seemed the best place to put it (that I could find).
