Melock bought 2 bronze swords 100L and 1 heavy cestus, as that isn't listed in the Pavis prices, I used the price out of the RQ2 rule book which is 40L and knocked
 10% off as he got it from Gudja.



that's one of the reason's Melock isn't getting another bat, though that ones death was Melock's fault.

Folks, really sorry, just have no spare time at the moment - unlikely to change this week - no time to post just now. The week after is also manic, but not juggling quite so many commitments at once and so I hope I can carve out some time to try and catch up a bit.

My main priorities are:

- Broosta at midday
- see if the Humakti will swap my death rune armour for an equivalent plain set with open helm
- try and talk someone Krakka doesn't know into enquiring after him at the Storm Bull temple (don't think I know Gronya's sister's about in the IC...or do I?
- happy to facilitate any sales people want to make

Is the scroll in a tube the +15% sling training scroll no-one's used yet?

Work's really busy today.  Hopefully I can post properly tonight.
For now, this list is as much for my own purposes as anything else:

- get local clothes, then try to find out info about Krakka

- try to find out info about Mani too (re Tada's parts), and White Lance, and the axe and armour of Emesh-Ga

- spend a bit of time at the Prax temple

- defeat Griselda in single combat and outwit her too.

You might have a long wait, I'm not sure if Griselda is in town yet. We are quite early with 1612. She comes to Pavis to investigate her brother's death in 1619 in 1616 she is 'meeting' Pikat Yaraboom, prior to that it's not that clear. She was based in Adari but her family are from Pavis and her mother and father lived there before she was born (or at least when she was very young), so she may come through from time to time on family business.

Looks to be Mostali plans to build something.

We seem to have a number of Griselda scholars in this game  :)
I wasn't expecting to succeed in the Griselda goal anyway  :P  but it's interesting to put the game in the context of the Griselda stories time-wise.  In that case, perhaps the girl who met us at the gate was Young Griselda  :)

I looked it up on the internet. but the internet may have let me down. Back home for lunch my pencil notes in the margin of the complete Griselda+ say she arrived in Pavis in 1616 having met Pikat Yaraboom in 1613. There is another gloss saying that she was born in 1592 though I can't remember the source for that. In 'The Cradlesnatchers' Griselda claims to be 35 at an interview with a grey-sage historian in 1629 so that puts her birth at 1594. Either way she's too old to be the gate urchin.
