Gabriel grew up in Wilmington, Ohio. He grew up a lover of all things nature, and had more than a few adventures that got him in trouble as a youth, though that can also be attributed to an tragic event in his life. At the age of 5, his family was the victim of a home invasion, his father tried to protect his family, though there were more than one assailant and his father, mother and sister were killed. Gabriel somehow survived after being shot once in the head, though it was only a grazing wound, it knocked him unconscious. The attackers were never found, though were responsible for other home invasions and were classified as serial killers. That telling part of his past would set him forth on his eventual career.

Gabriel was raised by his mother's parents, of which he got along with well enough, though he suffered from nightmares and insomnia from the memories of the attack. He was involved in the 4H and 3 gun competition before heading off to college. He attended Ohio State University getting his Bachelors in Criminology, then served 2 years as a police officer in Wilmington before he was selected to attend the FBI Academy. Gabriel has graduated from the Academy over a year ago and he was assigned to the main office in Manhattan, Gabriel has been a very busy young man. He and his fiancee, Erica, have moved from Ohio to New Jersey has been a culture shock to both of them. Gabriel has been hard at work with the FBI, Erica started her residency at Hackensack Medical Center in Emergency Medicine.

They have rented a home in Teaneck, which makes Gabriel's commute to work much longer than Erica's, but it is also much cheaper to live there. They are expecting their first child in a few months.
