Okay, well obviously my plans to get things restarted haven't moved forward that well.  I am going on vacation starting today so my current plan is to get things going again once I get back from vacation next weekend.  Again, I apologize for my absence and thank you all so much for your patience!

Sorry I vanished for the last month plus...

I've been in a stress-panic since June; I'm moving to a new city to attend the University of Oregon.  Between finding a place to live and fretting over whether I've been accepted by the university in the first place, I pretty well shut down socially.

Too much stress and I become a buttoned-up introvert.

But everything is finally settled; I can register for classes starting August 7th, and I can move in to my new place starting August 11th.  I'm glad I managed to beat the Eclipse Rush; finding a place was next to impossible.

Sorry again everyone; I hope I didn't hold the game up too much.

No, you haven't been holding up the game.  I'VE been holding up the game.

Yes, a crazy summer.  Health issues in the family.  A trial.  Co-workers getting sick, forcing me to pick up cases that I have zero familiarity with.

So here's my plan.  I'm going to Alaska starting July 31st.  I'll be back on the 11th.  So why don't we extend our hiatus until the 13th.  My kids will be starting school again as well, so I'll have a lot more uninterrupted time during the day to get posts up.

Again, I can't apologize enough for this summer.  Hopefully we can hit the ground running in mid-August.  Thanks for staying tuned in!  :)

That sounds great to me.  It'll be great to be able to pick up from where we left off.  That's ... kind of rare.

Oh, and say, if you happen to find a Vorpal Sword +5 up, say, near Sitka, please bring it home for Pisca.  I hear that the airlines are very understanding about allowing those sorts of things as carry-on if you say that you're bring it home for a gnome.

I feel a little guilty about being relieved I wasn't holding the game up.  Thank you for being concerned about me Pisca; I'm sorry I made you guys worry.

I think the 11th is a good time to start up again.  I might be a little busy since that's my move-in date though; but I'll be more available than I would be in the week prior!  The plan is to go to LA and visit the Natural History Museum.  I haven't been there in a decade; I can't wait!

Although Racon going to Alaska makes me think I should have picked a cooler place to visit.  Have fun!
