Pulling out a toothpick and picking his teeth Anthius says;

"I think it's a bit late for that buddy, and I wouldn't want to make your friend here a liar now would I..."

"WEEEE'RRREEEE HHHEEEERRREEEE!)"

Comes the howl of the closing "GET" closer than ever before through the woods.

Re: The War Begins

Ryan considered all the possibilities, everything his packmates said...and then, came to a conclusion.

"He has an agreement with the Uktena. I'm tempted to kill him right here...except we have his name. We can use Questing Stone to track him back to other leeches, and take them out during the day. Killing one leech is satisfying, killing more is even better."

Re: The War Begins

You know, sunshine, you might have thousands of agreements with the Uktena, but this is Shadow Lord territory and as far as I know, we don't have ANY agreements with you. So you should act a bit more polite. If the Elders want to speak with you, they still can. We can leave just enough of you for them to talk to after we teach you some manners, right boys? Is your puny little group seriously a threat to us? Shadowclaw played tough, hoping to somewhat scare the vampire and make him slip some information. But the main plan was to make him act atleast a bit less arrogant.

20:25, Today: Shadowclaw rolled 4 successes using 6d10 with the World of Darkness 2nd ed, Specialised system with a target of 6, rerolling 10s. Charisma+Intimidate.

Running back to his pack as fast as he could with an elder who wasn't exactly in his prime anymore, Leaf Storm sent the following message to his pack.

I am on the way back with the Elder. Should be here soon. Just don't let that leech be torn to shreds by the Get of Fenris. It seems we need him.

They would be there any minute now.

Five Get of Fenris, "Thor's Hammers" Come into view. There leader "Rip Claw" comes forward, eyes bloodshot and in the throws of madness from the blood of the hunt. He spits his words with aggression no thought to what he is doing. It is obvious that there will be no reasoning with this maddened get.

"Silver Tusks" Good Catch! We will take it from here. Kill it brothers!!"

He shouts, as he leaps to attack Anthius. His pack following in kind.

19:18, Today: Ryan Fox failed (2 failures) using 13d10 with the World of Darkness 3rd ed, Specialised system with a target of 8, rerolling 10s. Master of all Diplomats!

(Huh. Even with 13 dice, diff 8 is tough. Oh well. It was a usually impossible task anyway.)

When the Get came in, Ryan said, "Rip his arms and legs off, but leave enough of him to talk to the elders when they arrive."

Unfortunately, he underestimated just how noisy the howls were, and even his messily violent request couldn't be heard at all! In retrospect, he probably should've shouted instead of talking quietly. Oops.

"Don't think they heard me. Not that Gaia will shed any tears for his return to dust anyway."

He knew the instruction given had to be messy and violent, or they wouldn't have paid attention even if they DID hear him! Besides, they only promised him the chance to speak...not the chance to move thereafter.

Re: The War Begins

Seeing the Get of Fenris moving closer and almost being close enough to attack the leech, Lock Jaw deciding to beat his kinsmen to the chase and being restrained only by Marcus and the rest of his pack were either away or trying to talk down the murderous raging Get, Shadowclaw did the only thing that he could think of in such a short time. He jumped in front of them Saying;

"Oh my, this is a really peculiar situation. One leech, 11 of us. We should book reservations on his body parts, don't you think?"

Shadowclaw laughed, hoping the New Moon will do the rest and make them forget, atleast for a while. Because he really wasn't the best one to shield anyone. Much less a leech.

Re: The War Begins

Anthius leaps into the air becoming a mist to escape the onslaught, not that that will help him against the viscous claws of the oncoming GET. Nancy changes to glabro and swears as she is still holding her laptop. and it is closed and she wanted to get this on camera. Sean leaps befiore the GET hopping to bar the way from the Silver Tusks Prey.

The surprise comes when young Shadowclaw pipes up, his words stunning everyone;

"Oh my, this is a really peculiar situation. One leech, 11 of us. We should book reservations on his body parts, don't you think?"

Thor's Hammers stop mid stride, and everyone turns to the Ragabash. Then what starts as a puzzled look soon becomes a chuckle and that chuckle soon becomes laughter. Soon all of you even the mist formed cadaver are in throws of laughter.

The laughter carries on until the Elders and Leaf storm arrive. and it is bought to a halt by Hemlock red in the face from running, shouting;

"Silver Tusks!? Thor's Hammers!? What the frick is going on? Where is the vampire?!"

And it is this that seems to snap everyone back to their senses. The GET once again looking for the cadaver who is floating high above you in mist form.

Re: The War Begins

Shadowclaw was glad his gift took effect, as failure would mean being attacked by a furious Get. But then that was a risk that came with being a Ragabash.

As everyone suddenly burst into crazy laughter, some even rolling on the ground and curiously including the mist that was really a vampire, Shadowclaw noticed Nancy was recording the whole thing and thought how long it will be until tgat video goes viral among the Glasswalkers. It would certainly have a potential to be quite popular.

But that was when LS and elders finaly arrived and after one of them shouted at the laughing lot the magical moment was gone and laughter ceased. Being the one not exhausted from laughing for half a minute, Shadowclaw answered first, pointing at the incorporeal vampire above: There he is, sort of floats there. There were some disagreements here, so I had to lighten the mood somewhat before he could lose his head. Unfortunately, all I had time to think of was a really lame joke. Atleast it worked.
