Merry Christmas everyone!!! I hope it was everything wished for and better :)

It was good overall, but there was the usual stress and argument on the way. :(

My eldest brother and his family were hit by a drunk driver yesterday in VA on their way home. He is in intensive care. Please pray for him.

I am sorry to hear that; I am in VA, and I know what the drivers are like around here, so I am not surprised.  I hope your brother recovers swiftly, and your family can put it all behind them soon.

Oh, that's terrible. I'm very sorry to hear and hope he makes a full recovery.

Update: He has survived 2 surgeries, one to relieve pressure on his brain. The Doctors are officially listing him as Critical but Stable. He is in a chemically induced coma. Unofficially the Doctors are telling us he is a fighter and they think he will make it, though it is still a bit touch and go.

I appreciate your prayers, please continue.

Update: His brain swelling has gone down. He made it through another surgery, this one was the last one they absolutely had to do. Now its just about waiting. Thanks again for all your prayers. I appreciate your concern as well. You are all wonderful friends.

Glad to hear it! I hope he continues to mend well and I'm so sorry for your family to have to go through all this. I hate drunk drivers so much! My sister in law narrowly escaped a run in with a drunk driver about a month ago. Instead he swerved around her and hit an old couple head on. They were in critical condition for a while, never did find out if they made it or not. Scary stuff. And of course the jerk is totally fine.

That sounds promising. I hope it keeps going well for him.

I hope he recovers soon and you guys are in my prayers! What rotten timing around the holidays.

My coffee table is covered in books: the encyclopedia of witchcraft, jack the ripper casefiles, encyclopedia of angels and demons, d&d book of the undead and a bunch of core rulebooks. I'm thinking I'd best move them or the chimney cleaners will think I am a freak...

Bad night. Alergic reaction to meds caused him to go into A fib, which nearly caused cardiac arrest. He is fine...well at least as much as he was before last night. I need sleep.

My car won't start so my day will be full dealing with that, not to mention a cat with the runs (I have to follow her around with wet wipes!) and getting ready for my client session tonight. Why does Monday have to live up to its reputation? >:(
