Re: ooc:

Thanks guys! glad to hear it Simon! I am happy to hear good news :)

Believe it or not they do make those Kitty, lol. I am tempted! I think it' s the food she's on but for the moment she's calmed down anyway. Just waiting on my father in law now. Maybe tomorrow will be better at least?

Re: ooc:

Eww. I have a very fluffy cat who used to have a messy time going to the toilet. Sometimes it would get stuck to his fur, and might shoot out of the laundry in a panic because it was chasing him. D:

Re: ooc:

Lol! That's awful! Yeah, she's pretty fluffy too and she tends to have issues in that area. In fact, every time she goes we have to check her to make sure she's ok. She's so used to it that she will meow really loud and go and find us after she's gone so we can check her. 95% of the time she's fine but when she's not it's pretty awful. She has her own pair of scissors so I can keep her trimmed back there so it doesn't catch on her fur. Works really well. On those epic days she gets a bath and it's pretty awful for everyone. Boy, animals are sure lucky they are cute! Most of the time she's a dream at least so that helps.

Re: ooc:

My cat eventually got a bad combo of a rash and fleas, and lost a bit of his fur. One benefit was that he never had the messy bum problem again.

Re: ooc:

We have 3 cats. One is solid black with a tiny patch of white hair on his chest. I wanted to name him Padre, but it was my husband's turn. He is the most energetic cat we have ever had and his name, Zoro, fits him well.

We have a female calico named Cleopatra. She rode in the wheel well of a friend's car for a few miles. She was so terribly malnourished and covered with fleas...she came home with me. Days later she was in my lap and I noticed something in her nose. I pulled long stands of dried mud out of both sides of her nose and she just started purring like crazy. She is very regal. Did you guys know that the real Cleopatra was Greek and not Egyptian?

We have a fluffy one with similar issues to what you guys are talking about. My son named her Peanut. He tends to name things after food, I'm not sure why. Strange boy. We call her Princess Peanut, or just Princess. She is very skittish.

I love cats. So much better than dogs.

Re: ooc:

My cat is crazy if you walk into the room when he's using the cat box he bolts out usually leaving a trail of poo behind him. Ha! So we have established that we are all crazy cat people with nothing better to talk about but poop habits :D

Re: ooc:

I found you get the same thing from parents. I always wondered why, until I started changing nappies myself. After all, talking about it is the recommended way to deal with trauma. :)

Yep, I've always been a cat person.

Re: ooc:

I couldn't help it, she's so cute! Her name is Misha because she looks like a snobby Russian model to me for some reason, though the fact that I'm a Misha Collins fan doesn't hurt ;P

I like cats and dogs but cats are infinitely easier to take care of, hence I don't have a dog...

And Simon that mud in the nose thing really icks me out! Lol! No wonder she was happy! And I think at one point I did know about the Cleopatra thing but I had forgotten.

Diapers, I've definitely had trauma with diapers thanks to nieces and nephews. Especially newborns. The stuff that comes out of them is pretty much demon slime (shudders).

Re: ooc:

My brother is now able to eat solid food. He is in good spirits. Their does not seem to be any brain damage except for a bit of memory loss surrounding the holidays. That is likely permanent but he remembers everyone so we are relieved. He has a long way to go but he seems to have gotten through the most dangerous bit. Thank you again for your support and prayers.

Re: ooc:

That's a relief.

My brother-in-law has gone back to hospital for another treatment. One doctor said he'd never get better, but was working off scan results made before he got much worse last year. It's been a slight improvement overall. Anyway, I have more overnight babysitting.

Change of plans due to logistics. I get to sleep tonight! :) It should only be a few days of hospital, we hope.
