I’m so very very glad you liked his ending! I got a little misty writing it too, lol! But it’s so incredibly satisfying to have an actual end to a character’s story after so much work from both of us to bring his tale to life. Thank you for such fun over the last 8 years.

I know, right!? 8 friggin years is a long time! It makes it extra sad that it's over, but also extremely satisfying to have an actual ending. Like when your favorite tv series actually gets to end instead of being canceled, lol.

I have a d&d game that's been going close to 12 years now with no end in sight. When it finally does end in however many years more, it's going to feel reeeeeally weird. I was in my 20s when I started that thing!

And something else has been a long time coming for Penny. :D I promise I wrote it before reading about Colin and Amelia, but I like the similarity in stories and themes between Colin and Amelia, Penny and Ian, and Simon and Lily all at the same time. :)

Since things are winding down on here, I wanted to be sure I did some final art to celebrate this wonderful time with you all.

Since Colin is done, it seemed fitting to send him off with one last piece. And since Simon and Lily are getting married, I figured I'd post theirs too. I actually drew theirs a long time ago, before I learned better hair techniques, lol. So forgive me!

Ok, so my holiday was really busy and I'm completely blah right now. I've literally just been playing Horizon Zero Dawn all week and eating hot pockets. I'm going to just laze out and give myself a break for the rest of the year (lol, such as it is) because honestly, 2021 was not great and I want to end it with as little physical movement as possible. I'll be back and ready to kick butt next week though. A gal can only live on hot pockets and inactivity for so long, after all!

That is completely understandable. :) We had a sweltering heat wave on top of Christmas that sapped any remaining energy. Anyway, I hope everyone had a good holidays and I'll see you in 2022. :)
