Re: OOC : Relaxation room

No problem.  I'm actually looking at some connection difficulties this weekend, myself.  No connection at home, and there's only a narrow window for me to log in at work.  But I'll try to keep up ^_^

Sips his hot chocolate.  "I'm like a Dorthraki wedding.  I'm not having fun unless I've tried to kill my party three times."

Good one, Hilda. It'd be funny if the door crushed FRED just like that - reacting only to living organisms for instance.

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

Gavin, in this particular situation it would rather be useful for leaving the building and not going in whithout knowng what's inside. That's what I think, at least.

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

To SG-X1, I just want to remind you that the temple's inside is not that big that you seem to thought. Each square on the map is 5 feet wide so this mean that the temple is about 70 feet wide inside.

Even if radio don't work (You will have to test it if yo want to know), you can still shout loudly to be heard by anyone inside the structure.

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

It seems that most of us got carried away a little on the scale of the thing. After all, it's only about twice my apartament's size ;)

@Starmaster : How are we placed around the table ? Can we speak together without being heard by the Goa'Uld ?

Hilda, if you want to react to Rajip in any way, do so. Otherwise, I'll suggest opening both doors simultaneously next post.

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

The team is all sitting next to each other, so presumably, if SG-X2 wants to whisper to each other, the Goa'uld and the other occupants around the table shouldn't hear you, but it depends on how good their hearing is, as well as the accoustics of the room.

Since there were 6 empty chairs at the opposite end of the table, it's up to the team how they chose to occupy those chairs. If Michael wants to sit at the 'foot' of the table, he can do so. There would then be three empty chairs to his right, and two to the left.

My apologies for the small delay in service.  Had an emergency trip overseas for business and didn't get a chance to post.

Yup, I did the same thing.  I know I read that original post, and The Keeper clearly says there is a door and a button, but the neurochemical breakfast jelly that is my brain just didn't register it. ^_^

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

@Rajip : Make an education check please.

@everyone : Don't forget that you have access to education (1d20 + INT modifier) and intuition (1d20 + WIS modifier) check when it comes to a situation when you think your character could know something. Also note that education checks are free (But can be denied by the GM) while intuition checks cost 1 action dice.

Here you go.

20:47, Today: Rajip Mojdar rolled 10 using 1d20+1. education.

I'll also edit that into the IC post (for possible future use).

No reason. It's for me as much as for you. I've got to admit however that you got me really interested now. I only regret it's so late down here, already.

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

Refresh my memory -- at the time period that's being presented for the game, is the SGC aware of the Ancients, and that Latin is derivative of the Ancient language?

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

Yes, SGC knows about the Ancients.

They first learned about them in The Torment of Tantalus episode, first season.

Second season, O'Neill has the Ancient knowledge dumped into his brain by the face-sucker machine in The Fifth Race episode.
