Re: OOC : Relaxation room

If you killed them then they could not have been God, merely one of his many flawed creations before he created Man.

Not the strongest argument.  I would expect more from a Jesuit.

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

Last week and over the weekend my internet access has been really shi---, er, more off than on.  Today, so far, it has been okay and I've been spending the time looking for employment (and getting depressed-- thanks Governor Walker, let me know how much you got for your soul.)

I'm debating dropping out before the game really gets going, since if I can't stay on long enough to post most days, my contributions will be really erratic.  Since my landlord seems to at least as bad with his finances as me, it isn't likely he will get a proper building router as opposed to the single family house router he currently has.

Sh--!  I just lost the connection again.  I'll try to post this whenever it comes back.

Thanks for letting us know!

For the time being, I'll run Blaine as an NPC. If things improve for you, and you can come back, you can resume playing him.

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

Clarification before I post again, am I to be in the gate room with Hilda, Vasandra and Kaspar?

Nope.  Hilda is in SG-X1.  You're with me, boyo :-)  We're still gearing up.

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

Seemed like the SGC Teams also had a locker room area to prep them selves before or after mission.  With lockers to store stuff.

I need to borrow my friends SG-1 DVDs and rewatch them.  It's been awhile since I seen them.

Track falls under survival in DnD so I assume it would be the same here.

Yo GMs.

Are you going to bring the rest of SGx3 into the mission or should we post ourselves in?

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

They posted me in because I was being a dumbass and jogging through the gate, but I think I got y'all there with my post concerning what I did after face planting into the MALP.

I don't know when nor how but it's possible that one of your teams will soon have one more pair of hands. It looks like it's gonna get really crowded in here...

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

Ha. Before I could answer, everyone in SG-X3 posted themselves through the gate. I was just trying to establish an SOP.

I think SG-X1 could use a bit more military expertise, so that's probably where Rajip will be heading.

Are you perhaps implying that this old polish soldier can't handle himself in a food fight -- uh, I mean a Fire Fight?!  Oh, bother....

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

Would you find it useful if we set up a reserved OOC thread for each team that you could use to speak about your current mission (Like asking stuff to the GM or your teammates that can't be done IC) and all the stuff related to your team only while we keep the relaxation room for more general OOC stuff ?

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

In reply to The Keeper (msg # 139):

Can't speak for everyone but since I'm joining the game myself, I can at least voice my own opinion. So here it is: There's hardly any discussion in this thread so I don't think there'd be too many conflicting voices in here if it stayed the way it is now.

However, trying your solution out can't hurt, can it? Just create the threads and we'll see how it pans out.

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

Personally I'd say not as general OOC is fine here while scene specific OOC is best left in the scene where it can be searched on later without cross searching multiple threads.

Just my two cents :)

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

This thread is fairly active, and I haven't wanted to post mission-related questions here, preferring not to disturb other players if they're not interested in the other missions. So, I've asked small questions in the game thread. Small questions are probably fine in the game threads, but more extensive ones or discussions about the mission would be best in separate threads.

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

I may have missed the information but do we get to choose any color (except for orange, maybe) for our IC spoken text?
