Just a little hello. Nothing has changed since this morning so I have nothing to do. You should speak (Or write) more ! :p

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

Actually, my computer crashed early in the week, just after I had read the current posts, b ut before I'd written any replies.

I've got some limited computer access at work -- like right now -- and I'll soon have an alternate computer set up at home (my crappy, out-dated lap-top), so things will, hopefully, pick up soon.

So, until then...Up The Machine!!
No, wait...

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

I think I do...

You want us to post our actions in the order of the Stages, and you'll resolve each stage in turn, before moving to the next stage.  I think.

So, Kaspar & Rajip should wait to post their actions until after you've resolved Hilda & Vasandras actions.  Is that it?

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

I get it. I do exactly the same thing in my games. :) I just never thought to define it in terms of stages or the like.

Yes, I presume Keeper would have to resolve our actions, then play the Ratel #2, then it's time for Rajip & Kaspar, and so on.

You are all right. I'm not at home right now so I can't master the battle at the moment but I will try to post when I'll be back home. :)

For movement, we will assume we use the D&D4 style. Diagonal move have the same cost than straight move. :)

I don't know but I don't think. Maybe Starmaster is a bit too busy at the moment.

@SG-X1 : I figured that I played both Ratels at the same time even if they should have played separately. I will continue to do like that for the next rounds. It will make fight easier.
So now, it's Gavin turns. Once he will be done, I will resolve the three guys attack and it will be up to Vasandra and Hilda to play again. :)

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

Frankly, I'm waiting for SG-X3 to actually DO something. So far, all they've done is talk about what they are going to do. Nobody has actually chosen an action.

Berten's asked Randall if he should rejoin the group, but got no answer.

I've asked Randall which direction he was going to take, and got no answer.

I probably should have move things along by now, one way or another, but I have had a bizarre messed up week. Recovering tonight; should be back to normal by tomorrow. If no one posts before then, I'll post something... maybe a swarm of death gliders will show up...

Sorry. I've been a bit busy and I was unable to post. Hilda and Vasandra, you can play your turn. I will resolve everything at the same time as nothing special stops you from posting.

Hilda:
The beast was enraged, and so too was Hilda, wide-eyed with a savage grin, baring her teeth and snarling at it like a berserker. She was enjoying this! She kicked the badger-boar off her leg, then slapped sword against shield. 'Come on!' she roared.

OOC: The DR 3 granted by the tactical deployment vest should reduce that damage to 0.

Ah yeah, I forgot that. Anyway, I also did not updated the tracker so you still have all your HP. :D

Wonder if the harsh weather disrupted his ability to post.

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

Yup ^_^

Kaspar has never been under fire.  All the excitement, adrenaline, and testosterone has, sorta, freaked him out.  He remembers enough Officer Training to keep his cool, but he's freaked enough to just want it all to STOP ^_^

Yes, you and Vasandra can go ahead and attack (unless the earthquake interrupts). I was just chatting with The Keeper. He was just waiting for Gavin to post.

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

I forgot that I was trained in Tumble and could have rolled around the ratel earlier.

I also forgot to change the sword on my sheet for an axe, not that it mattered, since my champion Viking warrior and hunter can't actually hit a wild animal to save her life. :( So, going back and correcting mentions of "sword" for "axe".

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

Dice seem to favor me at the moment, no doubt.

Now a question to the English-speaking natives round here. If a spoken part ends with an exclamation mark, do you put a coma after it to carry on with narrative text or just skip it. In other words:

"Look at me! I'm shouting!" I called, laughing.
or
"Look at me! I'm shouting!," I called, laughing.
or
"Look at me! I'm shouting!", I called, laughing.

Re: OOC : Relaxation room

You only ever use one ending punctuation.

In the case of the question mark (?) and the exclamation point (!), there's a built-in period, so there's no need to add another one.

In both cases also, it signifies the end of a sentence. You only use a comma if the sentence continues after the descriptor.

Example: "If you don't mind," he said with a smile, "I'll do the complaining."

Example: "Don't go over there!" he shouted. "There's a bomb!"

It's the quotation marks that convey the continuation of the narrative text.

So that's pretty much what I thought it works like. Didn't know the rules, though. Thank you much, StarMaster.
