When you Request To Join, there are only a few requirements:

1. Race that you'd like to play (you can list more than one preference).

2. Class that you'd like to play (you can list more than one preference).

3. How familiar are you with the TV show? (Not essential, but it'd help!)

4. How familiar are you with the Stargate SG-1 RPG? (Since it's based on Spycraft, which is, in turn, based on D20 Modern, any of those are fairly reasonable alternatives.) Otherwise, I can assist you in making your character.

5. What type of game do you prefer: combat, exploration, puzzle-solving, role-playing. Note that combat generally takes a long time to resolve on RPoL so it'll be kept to a 'minimum' (unless everyone on a team is into that).

6. Preferably a name for your character. I realize that this may be hard to come up with if you haven't decided on a race or class, so this isn't mandatory. And it can always be changed later.
