13c: Judoc Looking for answers

Judoc floats his way around the northern face of the tower, attempting to glean as much information as he can.  Arrow slits abound on each of the tower faces, set some five to ten yards apart although there are none near any of the corners of the building.  There seem to be five sets of arrow slits, or five floors to the building, with Judoc winding between the second and third row.  Each of the slits is some three feet in height and each is separated by perhaps another twelve feet in height, making staying out of sight of anyone in the tower easily accomplished so long as he keeps modestly close to the walls.

As he rounds the northwest corner of the tower, Judoc notices a small path winding up along the hillside into the western wall.  Following the path with his eyes to where it meets the building, Judoc notices a small wooden door near the southwest corner of the structure.

OOC:  I've left you in the main thread for now so you can read on both and not have to backtrack when you are rejoined.  I stopped here just in case you wanted to investigate further.  It's only been about two or three minutes since you started your trek around, and you are moving at a rate of three yards per second.

Judoc Looking for answers

Powered by his Levitation spell, Judoc flies one circuit around the tower, looking for possible ingress points. What he sees doesn’t seem too promising. The windows appear to be well-reinforced, and the arrow slits are too small to move through. He notes with interest a path sidling up the hillside to the wall and figures this is how the keep is normally entered when the gate is down, but why go to the trouble of closing the portcullis if there is a smaller door in the wall? Perhaps it is for servants.

Satisfied with his reconnaissance, Judoc flies back to where the others are waiting.
