All character should follow these guidelines for character generation.
Ability Scores: Characters should be created using a either
point-buy system, starting with 50 points, for each character.
For those who need a guide:
- all abilities start with a score of 10
- 1 point buys 1 additional point for an ability for final scores of 11 - 13
- higher ability scores cost more: 14 (5 pts), 15 (7 pts), 16 (10 pts), 17 (13 pts), 18 (17 pts)
or
Attibutes using 6d4 die rolls reroll 1's
Players have a total of 40 Gestalt Levels which they must use to create a Primary and Secondary Character. These characters are ignorant of the others existence.
Eg a Primary Character Fighter/Wizard 12 Priest 6 (12/12 & 6 =30) and Secondary Character Rogue/Bard 5 (10)
Classes: Classes which require historical or hereditary requirements are limited to Race requirements, please provide reference to nominated Class
Races: No Mixed Races, Mixed Bloods or such.
Max RP5 templates
Alignments: No Chaotic.
Skills: Determine skills and statistics as appropriate to the Characters Levels please refer to combinations
Hit points: 80% Max
Equipment: Players have a total pool of 380000 to spend on equipment for both characters. No magical item belonging to either character can have a higher bonus than
[Their Highest Level Character's INT/5] Please note a plot variation will be applied. No Epic Items are permitted.
All items must be from the standard Magic List if possible include an online reference.
Character interaction is strongly encouraged as is the necessity to post a minimum of three days a week. I advise players to co-ordinate this between themselves. Characters who think their level is sufficient to operate independently will find this extremely difficult.
Background: I can't stress enough how important your background is. One or both your characters will be starting at a level higher than first. I'm hoping for a back-story which includes early experiences. Your backgrounds should provide STRONG motivation for your characters to embark an adventurous life.
