Re: Night 4: Look out Gorna, here comes Team Arda-Nuff
With the hoard of coins revealed at last it is Grakk that finally steps forward to sort and count them. He spends quite a while carefully stacking the copper, silver, gold and platinum coins in neat rows on the main altar. In the end he proudly announces his tally of 221 platinum pieces, 6689 gold pieces, 12510 silver pieces and 16350 copper pieces, which is a total of 35770 coins worth 10313.5gp in total.
In addition there were 4 gems estimated at 100gp each that were found on the gnoll leader.
The two tent-wrapped bundles of blood-stained gnoll armour, weapons and shields are estimated to yield about 450gp when sold to the traders in the marketplace, as well.
The two scroll cases that Jurz found under the trapdoor in the shed where the gnoll leader slept turn out to contain a dozen arcane and a dozen divine scrolls of various sorts. The list of spells on them (and their caster level) are as follows:
Arcane Scrolls: Alarm (CL1), Animate rope (CL1), Comprehend languages (CL1), Disguise self (CL1), Unseen servant (CL1), Invisibility (CL3), Knock (CL3), Levitate (CL3), Spider climb (CL3), Halt undead (CL5), Gaseous form (CL5), Fly (CL5)
Divine Scrolls: Comprehend languages (CL1), Protection from evil (CL1), Sanctuary (CL1), Bear's endurance (CL3), Bull's Strength (CL3), Obscuring mist (CL3), Restoration, lesser (CL3), Silence (CL3), Dispel magic (CL5), Neutralise poison (CL5), Poison (CL5), Remove disease (CL5)
Meanwhile Bulldust turns his attention first to the firepits, which yield nothing but charcoal and ash, then to the ceiling. The long ladder allows him to climb up to the ceiling where he discovers cleverly concealed vents to draw away the smoke from the two fire pits. He also discovers a concealed trapdoor in the ceiling that allows access onto the roof for maintenance work. He climbs out to savour the view.
