Re: OOC Chat

Minmorc levels his spear and suggests subtly that paladins aren't welcome, except when they taste like chicken or long pork.

Re: OOC Chat

Well, this motley group is developing quite nicely. We have another two or three characters in development as well who haven't introduced themselves in here yet, including an underdeveloped bugbear and a goblin mage of some sort. I'll probably start things rolling in the game this weekend for those who are ready.  :o)

Re: OOC Chat

Minmorc thinks about this conundrum (it takes a whiiiiile) "Does evil long pork and chicken taste the same as normal long pork and chicken?"
A kobold blackguard, the diet coke of evil, like one of those little 200ml cans of evil diet coke.

They introduced a couple variations of paladins, paladins of(insert deity), and then there are blackguards. So they come in all flavors.

Re: OOC Chat

I won't do anything Pathfinder.

Period.

I'll stick to 3.5.

As for the Paladins, there are alternate rules. Doesn't mean they have to be USED.

I simply as if its possible. I'm not going to bother with it.

Geez.

Re: OOC Chat

Sir Galabriel the Holy, Elven Paladin of Virtue was my first choice, of course.  But I worked out that in order to reduce his Intelligence/Wisdom low enough that he was able to successfully rationalise his monstrous associates as "rowdy sorts, rough spoken, but kind-hearted really" (confusing torture with tickling f'rinstance), then most autonomous functions such as heartbeat and breathing would have shut down long ago. :>

Re: OOC Chat

It was a simple question.

Geezus.

If I wanted to say make a kobold Paladin (Which I am NOT) could I simple do it.

Answer: Yes.

That's all I wanted.

Ok.

Its a OOC area so the people don't have to act like their /characters/.

Re: OOC Chat

Aaaaah, but you raise an interesting philosophical point. With so many games and genres to choose from the kind of person who chooses even more weird over say a manga or sci if stream out of character probably still has view points that mirror the persona they have chosen for this game. There is a part of me that recognises that we have teased your kobold paladin theorem quite harshly and would have stopped long ago, I usually play the good guy. However wether I'm actively playing "minmorc" or simply listening to my own inner Ork I really am curious as to wether kobolds taste like chicken (big toothy grin). When I think kobold I don't think fighter at all, I think of little punching bags who hold out hope against hope that they really are descended from dragons and through hard work and determination one in a thousand of them do become epically scary arcane casters. It is only fair that on that day they find out what Orc tastes like.

Re: OOC Chat

Hey folks, most of us have low-light vision or darkvision, right? This means that we get a huge tactical advantage by attacking at night, when the "civilized" races are at their weakest. On the flip side, we'll have to rest during the day, so we'll have to set watch during daylight hours, where we can see hostiles coming from quite a distance away.

It's a win-win!

Except for my character's light sensitivity in bright light. :(

Re: OOC Chat

I've never played a true neutral character, I have trouble thinking of a course of action that fits neutrality better than any other alignment except for the choice to do nothing...
