Re: OOC Chat

I love sleeping. Awhile back, I was ill, and was going 48 hours or more without sleep, and when I did sleep, I dreamed I was on the computer in chat rooms, and people spoke and the words were jumping up and down so I couldn't read what they were saying as they all stood around my bed. I am so glad the meds work now and I'm sleeping once more! Now my dreams are sooo much more pleasant!

Computer dreams, that's something different!

Makes me wonder, does a computer dream?

I'm living the dream!

However, I understand that Androids dream of electric sheep.

I reckon iPads would dream of poking people and have nightmares about greasy fingers and Luddites.

I would have thought Androids would dream about iPhones; or maybe that would be nightmares about iPhones?  ;o)

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep... is actually a BOOK... the "Bladerunner" movie was based upon.

Re: OOC Chat

Not to be confused with the Paranoia adventure (in White Dwarf #89) "Do Troubleshooters Dream of Electronic Killer Sheep", which was the sewers.  Or at least that's where it all started ...

H'mm ... wonder if I've still got those old Paranoia rulebooks ... <happy, evil grin>

Going to be without computer access for the next few weeks.  In the interim assume Dregz continues to consult the Holy Book on all matters spiritual and avoids danger if he can (but will certainly fight to help protect his new tribe. :>

And there's a second book in the series... and someday they say maybe a movie sequel but we will see...

Because no one has yet seen it? Don't we have to roll it, or wait for the GM to say we see it?

Rule of thumb,
Character said "hey look at that there"

Sense Motive on character,  Spot Check where hes pointing, Spot check elsewhere. React, Ignore. It's not exactly meta-gaming to react to a character :D

Re: OOC Chat

Just different game styles  :)

Personally, I tend to wait for GM confirmation.  After all, I (the player) don't know that the Minotaur has actually seen an elf.  It is a bit like O'Baddys hut - most of you guys saw something different to what Jurz (and a few others) saw.

Same here. He could have been pulling an "April Fools" joke or something, that's why I was waiting for confirmation.

Is it 'post or perish' time?

Yes, it is.   :o(

Nurzhan was the first to fall. He probably won't be the last. (Nurzhan's player hadn't been participating since about February. Posts since then had been NPCed by me.)

Re: OOC Chat

Sorry I didn't post earlier. We have had a houseful of people for the weekend -  playing in our annual weekend long dungeon -  which doubles as my wife's birthday party  :)

This year they cleared out Chimera Cove -  killing all the baddies and undead monsters -  and barely escaping with their lives :)
