In the Welcome Wench.

Drake had a late breakfast. He had arrived the night before tired and in need of rest.  He found a welcome at the inn though he missed his friend Elmo who was out tracking some goblins. Many a drink they had shared together but he was relieved to hear that Elmo had sobered up enough to start work again.  Maybe this would be a useful visit after all. Perhaps he would be back today.

As he was musing and nursing his hangover he and the few other early birds, became aware of some sort of commotion outside. Ostler stuck his head out the door and demanded what was going on. Truning back he said excitedly, "They're back!" the old barkeep rushed out the door to join the general movement towards the Western edge of the village.

One of the other patrons gets up to follow but the rest seem more interested in their 'breakfast'.

Re: In the Welcome Wench.

"Err...who are they?" Drake grumbles as the potiential refills head out the door. After a moment he will finish what's left in his mug and make his way around the bar. Looking over the taps he will select his drink of choice and fill the tankard back to the rim before he heads out to see what all the fuss is about.

Re: In the Welcome Wench.

No one answers the half-elf but as he goes to the bar on of the waitresses rushes over and fills his tankard for him and marked it up on his slate. Going outside, Drake could see a small crowd gathered around something or someone.  The barkeep was already on the edge. As he watched someone detatched themselves from the crowd and headed across the village at high speed.

"Thanks Luv." He purrs to the barmaid before he goes out the door.

Re: In the Welcome Wench.

As Drake follows the few partons from the Inn and nears the crowd he can tell it is bit of a mob and may turn quite ugly.  In the centre of the crowd, he can see his friend Elmo.

Re: In the Welcome Wench.

Drake finds a place to set his mug down without spilling any then moves a couple of paces toward the crowd before yelling,"FIRE! THERS A FIRE AT THE INN! SOMEBODY HELP!"
