Re: Formations

Is there something around we could wedge the western door at the bottom of the stairs shut with?  A place for a crossbar to block it maybe?

So is this the part ware the Halfling sneaks up on us scares Tindoome and she accidentally blasts him with her highest lvl spell? ;)

Sorry just saw this....  No bar on this side.  It opens away from you, there is a handle.

Is this the classical Dungeon Door?

If it opens away from us we could jam it shut by attaching some rope to the handle on this side and jamming a sharpened peace of wood into the stonework and tying the other end of the rope to it

Re: Formations

I have a spear - can I slide it through the pull ring, jamb the point in between a couple stones on the floor so that the butt end is pressed against the wall?

Message flag

You might see the message flag come on more often, without an obvious thread being displayed.  I have started a small side quest for a couple of potential reinforcements.  If it gets too much, I'll open another game and move them over, but it would be useful to keep the threads all in one place in case they overlap...

Re: Message flag

you are where the number 6 formerly was..... :)

If you look at the overall map there is a line from "Party's Location" to the corridor.  You are past the stairs and heading north (away from the stairs) towards part of the dungeon that you have not mapped yet.

Game play

As we are eventually going to get into combat I thought a reminder was in order...

I will be taking everyones' actions literally.  Spoken words will be assumed to be normal volume, lanterns are assumed to be illuminating the area etc. unless you say otherwise.

So for example, Felicia went first this round as that is how her player described things.  Luckilly the fire gia... there was no-one there :P

here we go

Oh well had to start sooner or latter....

Just a slight clarification, Tindo, Yesil and Vestan are outside the silence spell and can talk, but only to each other. Arek is just inside and could retreat out of range. Felicia may be out of it in the alcove with the door but it she is not certain.

Re: here we go

Sorry Tindo, maps is now updated.  Ronalt and Markus can see more but anyone else would have to move to the west where they are to see into the room the fire bombs came from.

Regarding intiative, we will be using group initiative for the moment so once you have all posted I will figure out the badies moves and post the outcome. If you are doing things that take a long time then I will factor that in.

I do not insist on an order of posting as that slows thing up. First to post, first to go....  I may change to individual initiative later if warranted.

This round, despite all you precautions, the enemy got a surprise attack in.

spell-chucker:
Agannazar’s Scorcher

A widely favored spell, and for good reason!  Hi, I'm Fran Tasslehoff.  With me, as always, is Dan.  Dan, how do you feel about this fascinating turn of events?

Dan says:
Well, I have to say that, as long as that spell is handled the way it was intended, things should go off very well.  Everything in that jet will get coated with fiery goodness.  The problem might lie, maybe, in the movements of her teammates.

>Fran nods vigorously before continuing:<

Let's get back to the play, already in motion.
