Re: In the dark

Arek, Yesil and Tindo move into the darkness and silence. Their only touch on reality is the contact with Arek and his hammer.

[Private to Arek Blackiron: You move forward, the hammer tracing you way.  Initially it is very easy then suddenly you come across an opening and the hammer touches only air. Estimated location D8]

[Private to Tindoome Uurraumo: Following Arek, you know you cannot let him go. His slow but steady progress is reasuring. Estimated location E7]

[Private to Yesil: Following Arek, you know you cannot let him go. The silence and darkness weight upon you soul and it is only the dwarf's reassuring contact that stops you from fleeing from this private hell. If you were to lose this touch who knows what private demons maybe summoned from your nightmares. Estimated location E8]

Re: In the dark

Pausing suddenly in his forward movement, Arek pivots on his heel towards the right and cautiously creeps forward.
[Private to GM: Obviously a corner, he's trying to re-establish contact with the wall at E9]

Re: In the dark

Tindo glides after the dwarf at one point she changes the hand with witch she holds on to him

[Private to GM: Tindo lets out a scream..  unheard to the world as the dwarfs sudden motion almost makes her loose her grip. Following after the dwarf the agile elf can walk without tripping up with a light step. She suddenly realizes that she has no weapon at hand should it be needed; she follows her right arm with her left hand and takes hold of the dwarf with the left. She the draws one of the daggers with her right hand from the bracer around her wrist. Her dos not see the dagger but she feels its grip in her hand, the blade has no coastguard, she feels the edge with a finger. After she is serten it is pointing in the right direction she spins it around in her fingers to hold the blade hidden behind a wrist so she dos not stab anybody accidentally ]

Re: In the dark

Arek lurches to the right and the stops.

[Private to Arek Blackiron: You come out to the darkness a door immediately facing you.  The others are still in the dark but attached and possibly not silenced. Current location D10]

[Private to Tindoome Uurraumo: As you turn, Yesil beside you pushes a bit as she make room for herself. Arek stops while it is still dark, you can hear him and Yesil. Estimated location D9]

[Private to Yesil: When Arek moved to the right, you find your self being squeezed into the corner of the wall.  Pushing at, hopefully, the elven witch you manage to get some breathing room.  All is still dark though you can hear you breath. estimated location E9 ]

Yesil's head cocked to one side.  Breathing.  Whispers.  Her hand on Arek squeezed tighter momentarily but did not let go.  "What is it, Arek?"

Arek tugged gently on the two women's hands to draw them forward.
"We've a door," he announced redundantly. "Don't think they're this way..."

Tindo whispers weary quietly "Maybe we should just wait out the spell?" She considers the possibilities but with no spells left she is not much help

Two faces and Arek continue to look at the door.... It doesn't move.

[Private to Yesil: Though Yesil is not even aware if she is in or out the darness lacking the vision of the dwarf and elf.]

[Private to Tindoome Uurraumo: Tindo suddenly feels something brush against her left leg, still hidden in the darkness.]

Tindo suppresses a scream but she almost jumps onto Arek back whispering in his ear “Something just touched me" She squeaks in a panicky voice. All signs of her battle calm guan

"I see nothing."

It wasn't a particularly helpful statement, but it was all Yesil could think to say.  Her hand tightened on her sword.

Re: In the dark

Tindo's yell and surge forward alerts the others who can only wait their fate. A few seconds pass, then a few more, perhaps the phantom toucher had gone?

Time continues to pass when suddenly the party is aware of a muted conversation from behind them and the clash of steel as the battle seems to be continuing. The darkness however remains.

Tindoome holds firm to her dwarf companion and tries to guide him in the direction of the sound of fighting. She could not see but her sense of hearing was quiet good

Tindo gets the feeling that the sound of fighting is coming from back down to the south, while the mutterings are from the west.

OOC: you can all talk and hear each other just not see each other... yet

[Private to Tindoome Uurraumo: You move to the south but immediately bump into Yesil. Your grip of Arek is now quite light.]

[Private to Arek Blackiron: From the feel of her hand griping you, Tindo seems to be moving towards the south.]

[Private to Yesil: Something bumps into you, you think it might be the witch, Tindo]

"What the heck?" Tindo suddenly can’t feel anybody around her. She shrugs and continues on to the sound of the fighting

Walking with small steps carefully to avoid tripping or staggering out of the darkness to fall into somebody’s blade

Re: In the dark

Arek pushes the door open and stepped into the room beyond.  It is a bedroom, clarly belonging to someone or importance. The walls, of what Arek reckons to be a fifteen by twenty foot size, are decorated with tapestries. There is a bed at the far right corner , a writing desk on the wall opposite and a wardrobe immediately to his left.  A chest stands at the bottom of the bed with a lock visible.

Behind him there is a scream of pain from a male voice that is cut short. The darkness lifts shorty after, and Yesil is finally free of the curse of blindness. They can see into the main room, currently empty of life but illuminated by the remnants of the fire.

OOC: sorry no access to my mapping software...

Yesil grunted, turning so that her back was to the room and she was facing the scream.

"This place," she curled her lip.  Though she did not finish her sentence, her face showed her disgust with the whole ordeal.

"Right then," Arek declares as his eyes confirm the emptiness of the area. "Back tha' way tis."
Pivoting on one heel, the old dwarf mumbled under his breath as his legs carried him back in the direction of the scream.
"Wha's goin' on here then lads?" he demanded as he drew close to the source of the scream.

Re: In the dark

Satisfied the room is devoid of threats and spurred on by the fierce yells that can only come from and ogre, Yesil and Arek exit the room and hurry towards the latest fight.
