Amathaon replied, "No not really good brother. I wouldn't be very good with it." He chuckled at his friends comments. He said, "How the mighty have fallen eh Hap."

Re: Who are you?

Sven proffered Alrrem's leash to Arek and asked "Mind holdin' im? Ronalt and I will lead the way.".
The last was an announcement to the room in general. To Yew he asked "They too broken to come out and play wiz us? We can't stay here forever." The silence of the group of elves grated on Sven almost as much as the mute resolution of the captive priest, whom he threatened again. It was just what he loved to do, second to actual acts of violence.
"We are off to get more shivs. After that, you keep silent and Sven make you scream. Playtime is over, for you at least."

Re: Who are you?

Luthien nodded in agreement.

"We've dallied here longer then was strictly necessary. We need to get these elves out of here and go already."

To that end, he let one of the elves lean on him if any of them appeared to be injured, particularly the lady elf. Even Knights In Training were courteous like that. But he still wanted to LEAVE now.

"Anyone gonna 'elp me?"
Rolf still lay on the ground holding a nasty wound where the bugbear had dug in it's claws then taking a large bite out of his shoulder.
"An yer, it's good to see you again too!"
Grimacing with pain, he cast his gaze around.
"Where's that wild woman Yesil?"

Re: Who are you?

"I will go with Master Sven to fetch the weapons. Mistress Tindoorme and Mistress Iviana may be able to reassure those elvish prisoners better than I."

He bows to Rolf, who he hadn't recognised as an ally until now.

"I understand that Mistress Yesil decided to leave several days ago, just before I met this group," he replies. "Do you have weapons here sir, or is there something among the items I listed that we can bring for you to use?"

He turns to the rest and asks, "Is there is anything in particular that anyone else wants, apart from the falchion and hand crossbow we do not have? We will fetch the longsword and daggers at least, and whatever else we think worthwhile."

Re: Who are you?

"I have recovered my belongings, all except my treasure. And while I'd like to leave, I wouldn't be adverse to looting this place. That way I regain my money, and a little something for my trouble!"

The halfling looks at the captive priest with hostility. "There's a little something else I'd like for my trouble, as well. Perhaps Master Sven and I have similar thoughts on that matter." He raises an eyebrow at the pale, rough man.

Amathaon nodded and said, "I'm of a like mind Hap. A little ransacking and a little payback." He began to look around for anything interesting, while waiting for the weapons to be brought in. If no falchion was available, daggers would be good.

“I'm grateful, Wise Arek, for your blessings. I vow to mix it up and put more of the foe down, and I'll gladly chant for the Father of Battles!”

"Juz don' ma' me regre' it."
Brother Yew:
"Yes, I remember now," he responded to Arek. "I did take those weapons downstairs. So many of them. Half a dozen daggers, light crossbows, a morning star, two spears, a shortsword and a longsword. I only left a longbow, two shortbows and their arrows up here."

"Nah, Kalad'r 'ad tha arrows. They'd be down tha too."

Luthien said, "Help the elves first, worry about loot later. Though I suppose we could split up, under these circumstances, and both tasks could be accomplished."

Naturally, he nominated himself for the 'helping the elves' team.

Luthien:
"Shall we depart now? There could well be reinforcements coming, so once we've freed those elves over there, we must leave."

"Patience youngster. All in good time."
Brother Yew:
"Do you wish some of us to fetch some of those things for our new friends before we proceed further? Perhaps Alrrem will now show us the way out of here, or perhaps with so many new friends there will be some among us who can approach the locked and warded doors at the top of the stairs and open them for us all to leave."

"That would be wise, although it might be worth arming the elves and seeing what assistance the two merchants can give."
"I have little hope of Alrrem giving aid to us however. It is in the nature of evil men to mislead and deceive even unto their end."

Re: Who are you?

Ronalt de Gault:
Ronalt smiled at Alrrem, "It is good to see you again Alrrem. We have much to talk about."
"Shall we retire to your rooms then?"
"The treaty with the troll wasn't working out as he abused some of my companions while fetching some items for him."
"So delicious bargain will you off us this time?"

Alrrem spat at Ronalt but said nothing.
Sven Arnoff:
Turning back to the priest he began tying the man's hands behind his back and hobbling his feet. A minute later and the party had a fine addition to their already varied array of pets. He even had a leash - apparently Sven felt it appropriate.
Walking their prize over to Arek, he asked the dwarf "What you want to do whi him Alrek? ... Sven calls him Scrappy."
The tall figure leaned over the leader of the fire temple and stopped with his scarred excuse of a face an inch from Alrrem's "And Scrappy'll show uz out off here, won't he?" he whispered alarmingly loudly. "Or he'll get his fingers broke." he added hungrily.
"Of course first we need to stop and get zis man a real Shiv!" he aimed the last over his shoulder at the young human. Sven was very pro-weapons.

The fire priest just sneered derisively.
Ronalt de Gault:
"nothing more for now, Sven. He is a prisoner."
"He will aid us in returning my sword and pack. Give us a better understanding of this underground lair and its exits."
"Should he get out of hand, then you may play with him then."

Luthien:
Luthien actually nods enthusiastically.
"Yes, let us hence, lest he try to betray us. Oh, and one other thing we should do..."
He rips off the priest's unholy fire symbol, and casually tosses it in the prison cell they'd been stuck in.
"Now, even if he manages to get free, he won't be casting any spells until he runs all the way back up here to retrieve his unholy symbol. I considered destroying it outright, but I'm not really sure how yet."

Alrrem didn't seem all that concerned about the loss of his symbol. Or perhaps he just recognised the futility of resisting?
Ronalt de Gault:
"You have some items to return to us. My sword and pack. Some baubles the other had. Where are they?"
"You can then show us a map of this complex."
"Once we have a way to walk out of this place you will be released. Stray from the conditions and Sven will have his way with you."

"Long gone, just like your chance of survival."
Haldan Tanner:
Haldan shakes his head in disgust. He looks at the captive fire priest as well.

"Can't handle your own problems. Pathetic."
"Knowing that, could've hired someone to help. Didn't."
"Expected that holding a hostage would get folks to do an adequate job. Ridiculous."
"Kidnapped my friend Amathaon and I -- for what? That can only have gone worse."
"Do you ever just pay for services, you worm?"

As with most of what had been said, Alrrem simply ignored the halflings jibes.
Ronalt de Gault:
"Being silent will get you nothing but some quality time with Sven. Answers gets you options."

"Why don't you just get it over with? Imix won't spare you either way."
