Seems Corvus hasn't been seen anywhere on rpol since the 19th...
Oh well, moving on...

I assume you're continuing with the same intentions Sir Luthien? [Secret to not Marcus Bournstride: Move to the opening and take up a blocking position?]

Re: OOC MK V

What? Yes. Exploiting a choke point in total defense is a fine way to get people room to run till the cleric can turn these guys.

Re: OOC MK V

So much for choke points.
Just need your direction Luthien and I'll finish off the round.
A little something from Corvus would be nice too. Rondo as well if he's still around.

Sorry, lost all interest in PbP over the summer, but come this time of year there'll be more time spent indoors with less to do!

Re: OOC MK V

Sir Luthien:
Sir Luthien has but one goal: rescuing the downed man. He does what's necessary to pull him out of the line of fire.

He's already well out of danger. Both Wonnilion and Kalador are moving past him this round and three out of four of the enemy have been turned and fled. The last one is currently in melee with Ronalt (paralysed) and Luthien. Wonnilion and Kalador are coming up to flank them.
Sir Luthien could move around to Amathaon, but that would mean he's leaving melee and will be subject to a full rounds worth of attacks (two claws and a bite) at +4 to hit (just like the party got on the three who just fled).

Re: OOC MK V

Whew! I am so glad that the 2hp damage that Wonnilon will inflict this round will be enough to wipe out the last 75% of the ghoul's hit points. Otherwise who knows how many of us might be paralysed before this fight is over?  ;o)

I assume the downed man Luthien is talking about would be the paralysed Ronalt.

Re: OOC MK V

Sorry, yes. Pulling Ronalt out, unless we're reasonably certain he's fine like that and I can just attack the enemy instead. Swinging a sword is a valid means of defending him too.

Ronalt's injuries currently amount to effectively a paper cut on his cheek. I think he'll be fine for a while....

Re: OOC MK V

Quick note - I've tweaked the weapon specialisation rule in the house rules thread to allow rangers to double specialise. The original GM had restricted it to only fighters.
I've also restricted the ability to specialise to single class fighters and rangers, and this must be done at 1st level. This is in line with the errata for the Unearthed Arcana published in issue 103 of The Dragon magazine (specifically pages 13 and 49).

These tweaks should only effect Ronalt I believe, and only when he finally reaches 7th level.

Re: OOC MK V

Ah yes. We Paladins aren't fighters anymore, we're Cavaliers. But that means we've got weapons of choice in place of specialization.
