In reply to Amathaon Chalkbreaker (msg # 4):

Sir Luthien nodded.

"It doesn't have to fit in here for us to kill it that way. If it's arrogant enough to just shove its head in here trying to breathe acid on us, collapsing the cave on its neck should finish it off."

"Maybe, but I don't carry any digging tools as a general rule, and have no engineering skills to speak of either."
Smaller traps he could do, but bringing the entire roof down in a "controlled" manner at the time of their choosing was something else entirely.

A few minutes pass until there's a small noise at the tunnel entrance. The light dips slightly for a moment as a small humanoid is very briefly silhouetted as they enter.

Sir Luthien evil scans as he approaches the noise...

"Luthien, I'm really going to have to help you muffle and oil that armour if you ever hope to explore tunnels and dungeons and such-like without alerting everything you are coming!" Wonnilon chuckles.

"Come on you three, back to the moathouse. The thing that came out is a big black lizard, not a dragon, so we are all going in to deal with it and we could use your assistance."

Sir Luthien shakes his head.

"The point of mighty plate mail is to see and be seen. Sneaking isn't really our job. That's what scouts are for."
