If anyone's going to get paralysed, held, entangled or otherwise physically restrained, you can put money on it being Ronalt.
Every. Damn. Time.

Does petrification count?

I'll see your garden ornament and raise you a life-sized statue!  ;o)

Re: OOC MK VI

In reply to Brother Yew (msg # 23):

That's a tough one. On the one hand, Yew is effectively incapacitated, but on the other it's not like he's been in any real danger since the moment it happened either (besides the risk of a few chips or a cracked limb when he's eventually retrieved).

In light of Kaladors action, does anyone want to alter what they're intending to do?

Re: OOC MK VI

Looking back at the map of the crypt this tunnel heads south about 35ft from our 'front line' defensive position, then swings southwest for about 20ft around the 'nest' then heads west. When Kalador moves out of sight Wonnilon will follow after him to the appropriate bend so he can keep an eye on Kalador.

That may change if others decide to go with Kalador.

Sir Luthien:
"If someone is in trouble we must surely rescue her."

Is he doing anything or just talking?

NOTICE

There seems to be something with my laptop. Hopefully I get it sorted very soon otherwise I might have to use this old, slow one.

*shrug*

I never met a ghoul/ghast who could talk... or got to talk... in my gaming experience.

Re: OOC MK VI

Monster Manual:
Intelligence: Very

Also, most sources (not 1st ed though, but doesn't say they can't either) have variations of "Like ghouls, ghasts spoke whatever language they did in life."
Given even the low intelligence Ghouls are described as possessing a "terrible cunning", using speech such as in this case seems almost logical doesn't it? :P

Re: OOC MK VI

Ah well. Role-playing a good character has its drawbacks. I just hope Luthien can finish them off fast.

Re: OOC MK VI

Luthien may have troubles with that, although he is nearly untouchable to them with his plate armour, shield, dexterity and protection from evil aura. He at least will probably survive. :D

Hmm, I should probably brush up on the grappling rules...

NOTICE

There is a strong typhoon (equivalent to a category 3 hurricane) that is projected to hit my area within 48 hours so my internet connection might go down Christmas Day. If that happens it usually takes several days before it gets back up.

Just in case... Happy Holidays!

The typhoon slowed its forward velocity, but it strengthened into a super-typhoon and veered closer to my area. We expect it to hit tonight.

Re: OOC MK VI

Thankfully Typhoon Nina (Nock-ten) veered southwards so it remained to the East of our friendly neighborhood mountain, which shielded us from the worst of it. Power was out for about 8 hours, but everything seems to be fine now. ^_^
