I read that as we checked a couple of areas first and found nothing then got there.  Just the GM  being efficient.

You are correct. You went in several rooms sweeping from west to east before you reached the current spot.

Apologies for the delay in posting--I may not be able to update until Saturday, FYI. We'll see how much time I get today.

And apologies for the confusion--I forgot to move your minis to where you were now. I have updated the mini locations according to your current location.

Folks, to clarify: you have already been inside B25--check out post 644 (link to a message in this game). To clarify: when I highlight a room name in orange, that means your characters have walked into that room and looked around.

Please revise your posts and post something here to let me know when you have. :-)

LOL that is my fault, I for some reason thought that door was also a double door and I confused everyone.

My bad.  Revised.

Been sick with the sudden cold snap that came in with April, still not up to par.  Been sleeping when not working (no sick time yet, but can work remotely so as not to expose coworkers).

Re: Second-generation OOC
I presume we are all in the hallway then istead of scattered about as my map shows? (Can we position ourselves before taking actions so we can see where we all are?)

(It looks like the stairs he's coming down are the same ones 'Bella looked up before going into the dining hall.)

I thought all of this was happening west of the dining room!

That is incorrect. You are exactly where the map shows you, scattered.

Nope. That's why you and Jereth didn't act in the first round--you were caught by surprise because you were in a different room.

Nope. That's why you and Jereth didn't act in the first round--you were caught by surprise because you were in a different room.

But before I moved to that spot, Aradhel was positioned in tge hall west of the dining room and Jereth was in the dinibg room at the west door.  I was the last one depicted in the hall where Aradhel is now facing the ogre and my post specifically stated I snuck a peek up the stairway out of curiousity.

'Bella moved to the current location because it appeared from the most recent map at the time that Aradhel and Jereth were addressing something they heard at the western doors.

Maybe the map link isn't updating properly or I'm having RPOL issues because a lot of posts suddenly appeared with the refreshed 'scattered' map view.

Re: Second-generation OOC
I'm presuming the doors to B25 from the hallway Aradhel and the Ogre are in are standing open, so 'Bella can see from her new perspective without being direct;y in reach.. is that a safe presumption?

Are the tables or benches in the dining hall intact enough that she might be able to maneuver one into the hallway behind the Ogre so Aradhel might could force it back to unsteady ground (trip it)?  If Aradhel leads the Ogre a bit down the hall first?

Making sure I understand the situation and opportunities.

Do bear in mind I'm not withdrawing from close combat against an opponent this dangerous.

Re: Second-generation OOC
Well you wouldn't have to withdraw from combat just to allow him to gain some ground, but mostly I was checking fir if the doors were already open (presumably into the dining room as opposed to out towards the hall), or if I was going to need to open them.

He's already Shaken, so my spells and general Tricks won't help at the moment.  Although they might serve to put him at a penalty on his attack.... (I had forgotten that piece last night.)

Yes, that's a safe assumption.

If you wanted to do that, yes. We could work out a mechanic to support that.

If you're not sure what to do, please go On Hold so the others can react after the ogre goes.

Is the map looking askew to anyone else?  I'm seeing almost everyone in B25 on top of tables along with the Ogre and the blackout blocks are in the hallway...

VERY VERY IMPORTANT:

If you accidentally mess up the map, hit Control + Z to UNDO what you did. Don't leave it like that for me to fix, please. These posts of "hey, the map is messed up" are getting a bit old. :-p
