Re: OOC Discussion

Uldaf Asbjorn:
In reply to GM (msg # 867):

I'm Titus. I'm a storyteller, actor, and generally good guy. My parents died, and I just can't stop projecting onto Uldaf about it.

My favorite part of all this is that we're in this OK Corral style standoff where you are trying to pull justification and reason out of a guy who literally just told you he spent 30 years in exile for his crime. It's not like he went to the genocide candy store..

Correct.  His family was murdered.  You killed your family, brazenly. Ipso facto you murdered his family. Titus is intelligent but emotionally stunted.

Also wouldn't go so far as good guy.  He is chaotic neutral at best. He only seems like a good guy because you are on his side... For the moment.

Brennan Otthild:
In reply to GM (msg # 867):

Am I the only one who expects this story to end as follows:

1) Titus puts a dagger through Uldaf's ribs
2) Uldaf transforms into a bear and murderkills Titus, then bleeds to death
3) Enrei watches this whole thing but fails to realize it's a serious matter, opting instead to offer pointers about the relative efficacy of the chosen tactics. He then applauds each for their efforts and promises to talk to them more about it "after their nap"
4) Brennan doesn't even look up from his book

Brennan isn't there to make this obersvation, but... unless Arule's leg has magically healed, carts are likely to speed us up. Win/win!

Re: OOC Discussion

In reply to Brennan Otthild (msg # 877):

To be fair nothing about murder was written in game it was all ooc. But I'm crediting Uldaf for his psychological knowledge to read his intent.

As far as Godrick he can take a running leap for all I care.  I'm almost tempted to see if I can hang out with Hannah for another few days.

As far as I know, you weren't stealth pulling the knife, so I was giving him credit for seeing it.

In reply to Titus Blackwell (msg # 880):

new ending:
it turns out Titus and Uldaf only fight because they're so much alike, and as soon as they realise this they have a touching moment, share a hug, and Uldaf offers to take Titus to get some icecream.

But Enrei pressed the shirt into the tailor's hands.

Re: OOC Discussion

In reply to Titus Blackwell (msg # 897):

I am skilled enough in JavaScript to create a game of rock paper scissors in which the computer cheats. And I once created a game of five-card draw that could only recognize hands of 3-of-a-kind or weaker and did not remember which cards had already been drawn from the deck... a calculated risk on my part gambling that neither issue would come up when the professor's grad students tested it to grade it.

I got an A.

Why do you ask?

I know enough general coding that furious googling and snippets of code have gotten me several functional javascript programs to supplement the data forms for the EDC I run for the company I work for.  If any of our customers ask I don't feel guiltiy saying I totally know javascript.
