In reply to Titus Blackwell (msg # 797):

To be fair you have actively written him to specifically get under Titus' skin. An endeavor that has been successful.

In reply to Titus Blackwell (msg # 798):

Brennan and I both find Enrei endearing. Way to be!

When we eventually die horribly, I have no doubt it will all be due to some "misunderstanding".

there's just something so satisfying about getting under titus's skin.  especially without it being a goal in-character.

TBH If I was in a group with Titus I would probably spend a good chunk of time getting under his skin.

Ye gods. We all know the amber's the most important thing he's got, but we can't possibly afford it and we aren't allowed to haggle. Do you WANT me to murder everyone we meet?

You could barter.  what are the chances he recognizes an inquisitorial insignia?

In reply to Enrei Omal'i (msg # 804):

Bartering feels a lot like haggling. I dunno if he'd notice the regalia, but I'm also not sure I want to part with that stuff yet. Hm.

Re: OOC Discussion #2

In reply to Brennan Otthild (msg # 805):

i would assume haggling to be driving the price down, if he values anything we have, especially anything he could then sell, equal or greater than his goods I don't know how it could offend him.

if you want to keep the evidence against you until we are inevitably caught red handed with it by more inquisition that's your business.

If we get caught without it we're just as dead. Inquisitors should have a paladin with them, and we need that gear to fake it.

In reply to Brennan Otthild (msg # 807):

The plan is to rely on Brennan knowing when to use the disguise and when not to based on his familiarity with the situation. This can and will fail spectacularly, but I never said it was a "good" plan.

In reply to Brennan Otthild (msg # 808):

all I know is that I have yet to be directly roped into this hairbrained scheme, which makes me the most likely reason for it to fail. And as you mentioned, accidentally getting us all killed is something I'm likely to be apt at, so keep whatever il-gotten regalia you want.

Re: OOC Discussion #2

In reply to Enrei Omal'i (msg # 809):

I can't loop you in properly until we ditch our temporary allies... or until they become permanent allies. If all goes well, our travels will take us far from civilization anyway. We're ostensibly heading to a remote witch's hut and then to the ruins of a city in the mountains to the north. Those we meet SHOULD be easier to fool than the folks of Thorngate.

That said, I have every confidence in Enrei's ability to get us killed regardless. Go team!

In reply to Titus Blackwell (msg # 814):

Well, you'd just have to make sure you don't ink them so deeply that it immediately enters the bloodstream.

In fact, if you used the poison as a proper tattoo you could "save it" until you needed it, so long as you never got cut there. You could even make it your ritual to run the blade over a portion of the tattoo to "wet" it with blood and poison.
