What's the plan?

You could camp on the summit, but the horses and all your equipment cannot follow.

You could move camp down the road and take the horses, with the risk of not finding a suitable place before nightfall.

How long would the journey be to circumnavigate the mountain and arrive at the valley where our snake-addled town is?

The valley the town is in exists in the middle of the mountain range that divides the Kingdom from Nor.

According to any maps you have or have seen, there are no easy routes through the mountains except for A. Caravan Pass or B. going North and around them.

It is very likely there are more small passes that are difficult to climb (as this one is), but you don't know where they are.

Going down and through or up and around would take months of travel and would still leave you on the far side of of the mountain range (now in Nor) unable to reach the village in the valley.

Yeah we will move it to the most defensible position as determined by someone with more woods smarts than Titus.  A place that is covered on as many sides as possible with a  limited entrance and lots of cover.  This is where the NPC's will sleep.

The PC's will climb up the mountain and camp near(ish) the witches and storm the castle in the morning.

At least that is my take.

You could try to jump and grab a stalagtite.

To steal the stone from her hand you have some options:

1. Make a called brawling/grappling shot against her hand, succeed, and then next turn wrestle it away.

2. Use stealth to try to sneak around, and then next turn do the called shot thing with a bonus.

3. Make a called shot to the hand with some sort of weapon, hoping to hurt her hand enough to make her drop it.

Anyone being "snuck up on" will get an automatic opposed check against the person sneaking up even if you're doing something else.

If you want to spend your action looking for someone INSTEAD of doing another action, that's different.  You cannot hunt around for the witch while also fighting or slinking around yourself.

You can certainly sneak off to a hiding place, then stay still and watch carefully.

Yes, someone who is gasping, bleeding, limping, would be easier to spot.

Stealth is really just "don't be noticed" but you still have to DO the thing you don't want to be noticed doing.  Pickpocket could be justified, because apart from noticing you, there's no way an opponent can stop you.

Taking something from someone's hand while they use it requires more than just not being seen.  Even if you were invisible, you still need to grab the hand then overcome their strength.

At this point though, yes, just go get the sword.

Again, the idea is to impress.

Enrei has no idea how this game is played, and I'm not doing much better.  There seems to be a roll under/over set by the choice of safe or risk, but I'm not sure how the other two dice play into it as well, or what eyes means other than you rolled doubles.

As far as Enrei is concerned after someone else rolls you call "bet" to roll the die, and sometimes you make money and other times you lose money.  when you roll all 3 dice, calling risk means sometimes you can make another player win or lose money, but if no one bets, you lose money.  If you call safe, sometimes you can win money too.

[Private to Titus Blackwell: Titus would be familiar with this game, called "Eyes" or "Demon's Eyes".  It has several variants, and is very simple (such that 'serious' gamblers look down on it as a commoner's game).

Three dice are rolled, a pair or three-of-a-kind gives a payout and players shout "eyes" and often drink.  If three-of-a-kind are rolled, the player's turn ends.

Otherwise, the player picks one die to 'give away' and declares "Safe" or "Risk".

Any player may quickly grab the offered die and say "bet".  Under Safe, the player is trying to roll and match the other two dice.  If "risk", the player is trying to roll between the other two dice.

There are numerous variants, these players do not appear to be assigning any special attributes to the red die.]

It's surprisingly easy, and basically comes in two forms: Swap out any implicit subject for a completely different one (roll for it or flip for it, from earlier in the game) or choose the wrong meaning of a word with multiple ("business" and "with" most recently).  Once that's done Enrei just follows the resulting line of thought to its logical but ridiculous conclusion and questions the speaker, rather than his own understanding.

Speaking very explicitly in small words and omitting slang would actually make it harder for Enrei to misunderstand something just because I'd have less to work with

So, here's my question: How badly will Enrei hurt the guard if the guard is unwise enough to deem his goat unacceptable tribute? And how badly will Enrei hurt the guard if the guard accepts the goat as tribute and takes it from him?

If the guard deems the goat unacceptable he will have a loud argument with someone who does not have a firm grasp of the language, to the frustration of both, and I'd expect a good chance that he lets Enrei past anyway just to be done with him.  If he attempts to take the goat Enrei may be upset, but I feel like the greater danger would be his ability to restrain an untamed goat without giant man muscles.

As Lady Anne goes... so goes Lord Garr.  So really those two are a package deal unless you are planning on pissing off the succubus.  Which strikes me as a bad idea.  I would love to know what kind of contact is required for it and I'm sure that sheriff pigfucker would know but we have had precious little luck on that front.

I don't think Lord Garr would leave now... nor would Anne.  They are probably best left for our return trip once we find out whatever is to be found at the stone.

I'm sure we could get Sir Mark to come along with us, at least a ways and we could always ask him/Lord Garr.

Lucy could come with us but does she really want to be in that much danger and how much good could she do?

While I don't disagree with you persay... there are idealogical reasons Titus would argue with you... but here is the practicality of our situation.

Currently I have Lord Garr on our side... I also fully expect to have Lady Anne on our side after this meeting.  Currently, we are friendless and low on funds.  If we take action on Lady Anne now and we fail we are in deep shit, if we fail and make a mess of it (Cough... Enrei... Cough) we are in even deeper shit.

If we succeed and are not stealthy we might be able to weasel our way out of this.... but are still in deep shit.

If we succeed and are stealthy about it, then the lord will be circling the wagons and not very likely to help... which is more like stepping in dogshit than it is buried up to your neck.

If we leave her in place, then we will have the full might of the house at our disposal. Meaning we walk away smelling like roses.

Your only way to take care of this quietly is to convince Titus to assassinate her... a tall order.

Besides... the lord is happy and isn't that what matters?
