The sand blinded her temporarily, but that was it.

You could try to jump and grab a stalagtite.

To steal the stone from her hand you have some options:

1. Make a called brawling/grappling shot against her hand, succeed, and then next turn wrestle it away.

2. Use stealth to try to sneak around, and then next turn do the called shot thing with a bonus.

3. Make a called shot to the hand with some sort of weapon, hoping to hurt her hand enough to make her drop it.

When I say grab and swing I mean something on fire.  I have sword seems like the best thing to swing in this situation unless i can pick up a flaming brand or something like that.

The fire pit is mostly flaming coals.  There is some sort of grate over it and bones/debris.

There are no torches if that's what you mean.
