All correct.  I never named him, so everyone is just referring to him that way.

....me apparently.  Sorry I've got a half day today so I'm going to be super busy.  I hope to get something off to you guys before I go to the concert tonight.

How long would it take for the men to arrive at the hut, are we talking like five-ten minutes?

In reply to GM (msg # 268):

OK so I distracted them for 5 minutes and now they have a 10 or so minute walk ahead of them?

How far am I from the priest's house?  What is the terrain around the city?  There is the lake and the forest the priest went to what is in the other directions?

Also do any of these guys know who I am either as the lordling or as the inspector?

Re: OOC Discussion #4

In reply to Titus Blackwell (msg # 269):

Yep, about 10 minutes to prepare.

You are as far from the priest's house as you want to be given 10 minutes lead time.  In that time you can sprint anywhere in the shantytown, or make it back to DuckTown behind the soldiers, or wherever you want to be.

Ducktown has a lake to the west, open land to the north (farms), open land then trees and mountains a mile to the east, and the slums to the south (where I presume you are).

The priest walked around the lake to the west.  Past the lake to the west are the woods he was heading to.

You don't recognize any of the men, you have no idea whether they heard rumors about an inspector, lordling, or anything else.

Going to need a roll for each new use of your illusion power.

Also keep in mind, everyone in the area will be able to see it, unless you're picking one specific person.

Also, and I forgot this earlier so we can just apply it to only things from now on:

Re: OOC Discussion #4

In reply to GM (msg # 277):

In case this interaction feels confusing:

Burke was indeed at the pit when you were looking to hire them, but he was not at the rendezvous himself when they tried to kill Titus.

Even if he were, he's absolutely not going to incriminate himself to someone he doesn't know.

He and Gheller are willing to work for Titus, they don't really care, but they're smart enough not to talk about what they've done in the past (mostly)

Don't worry, once I have him alone I plan to sell out the lot of you in exchange for my life.  I give it a 50/50 chance of success, but if I die you'll all go down with me, so it's kind of win-win.
