Depends: it would take him 3 rounds to get far enough away that the guard couldn't see him from where he is standing, and would have to start guessing at which way he went in order to follow.  It would take fewer rounds if Ciryl decides to hide instead.  He would have to hide successfully or else he'll be seen once the guard moves in the direction he went.

Then again, Ciryl could run directly into more guards, who's to say...

Nick, it's been a while, but it generally helps to provide the hit location in combat (the first die you rolled).  also, I think I remember you being unclear on called shots in the past.

Just use normal penalty for partial cover: he has a wall that goes up to his groin or so, so hit locations of 1-2, and 7 would just hit the tower instead.

You all have a good amount of stuff you "own".  Much of it would logically be on your horses or at the Inn, but for the most part I assume you either carry it or have access to it as needed.
