You hadn't specifically decided, but it's not unreasonable for one to come with, as a torchbearer.  It also wouldn't be unreasonable for that one to demand hazard pay or a share (full or half) of any treasure, if there was significant risk to life or limb.

What does everyone think? Do we just have the hirelings hang out outside, or have some come in?

Let's have them hang out for now and we'll poke around a bit. Once the body count gets high and we have wheelbarrow loads of loot to be removed, we can come back and get them. Or whatever.

I'll let you do it during the round, in addition to some other action.  I have some personal experience lighting a flame with tinder, flint, and steel, and it isn't fast.  Still, this is a fantasy game.

I like to use IMGBOX (https://imgbox.com/).  It's free, and doesn't take too much editing of the link URL to insert an inline image.  Unfortunately, I think that only GMs can post IMG links.  Still, if you guys want to put one together, kick me the link and I'll post it as a game map.
