Re: OOC Chat

Welcome, new Elboc!

Huzzah, hooray for 4000 posts!

FYI: Friday-Monday I'm locked up with all-day type events and a bit of family travel, so you won't hear from me at all during that stretch.  NPC my guys as needed during that stretch.

Re: OOC Chat

I'm heading out to Spokane, on the other side of the State of Washington from where I live, starting in the morning.  I'll be back late on Sunday, and may not be able to post again until Monday morning.  I hope everyone has a great weekend.

@DM - Drive safe! If you felt like driving an extra four hours southeast you're welcome to swing by! ;-)

@Albrict: While I appreciate the offer, a six hour drive each way was all there was in the cards this weekend.  It's good to see friends, and we always wish that they were closer.

Re: OOC Chat

I'll be away from a computer over the weekend. From Friday after Thanksgiving until late Sunday night. I'll have my phone to check or perhaps even post something crucial, but don't wait around for a response from me during that time. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

@DM - Glad you made it safe. One of my best friends telecommutes from here but has to travel once a month up your way. He's told me some pretty hair-raising stories of the road conditions through a certain pass. Travel this time of year is always interesting.

Re: OOC Chat

@Sherborne - You must have been a wrestler? I think only wrestlers ever saw that movie. Yes, I've seen it at least a dozen times. ;-) Spokane has changed a lot since then. I don't really care for it anymore, but I do have some fond memories of that city back in the day. I watched USA vs Russia wrestle there in like 1993 or thereabouts. America's heavyweight was injured and a local High School coach volunteered to step in so we didn't have to forfeit the match. He won! It was amazing!

@Elboc - Calendars are your friend. Sometimes you can even get them for free around town. :-P

Re: OOC Chat

Nope, I was a runner.  A lot of us saw it both in HS and college when that came out and none of us were wrestlers.

Gulp. Let's see if the old-timer can intercede in time... Not too optimistic about this though.

Re: OOC Chat

PM sent but will ask here too, based on game thread post (don't think PM was noticed).  Is there room for Vsaati to position herself for a backstab on the owlbear, without having to stand in the pool of fire?

Vsaati:  You can't do it at the moment, but with some maneuvering, it could be possible.  Describe what you're doing in combat, and if it sounds plausible, I'll allow it.

Silverglade used his new sword in this combat. Did he notice any magical properties?

A bit embarrassing to admit, but I don't recall where you got it, right off.  Can you bump my memory?

I really should keep even better track of these things...

I found the post, but I think I must have misread it. It's from the masked guy with the hobgoblins. I thought the sword was his, but it's one of six the hobgoblins had. So safe to say it's not magic...
