"Oh, we haven't seen it," a random pixie calls out.

Another continues, "There were plenty of bones, though!"

At this, hysterical laughter breaks out all around again.

"This is just a waste of time. We should move on."

Lanliss smiles as he says this - Elves are familiar with pixies, and their particular predilections, and he knows they are unlikely to gather anything useful from them. A few hints and tidbits maybe.

"I agree. Time to go Roak. Say goodbye to your little friends." Albricht backed out of the room into the corridor. "I don't fancy traps or slime. Time to take the stairs for sure everyone."

Three of the pixies puff up their cheeks, put their hands on their hips, and titter, "This is just a waste of our time."  The others continue to laugh, with one of them falling off the boxes the others are standing on.

Plathstream grabs Roak by the collar. "Time to go, laughster," he says calmly, pulling the halfling away.

Roak squawks but actually does not resist, waving happily at the winged jokesters.

On the way out, Vsaati checks the pixies to see if any of them are covered in dust. She's heard it can have magical properties...

The pixie that fell off of the box appears to be a bit dusty, from his contact with the floor.

<Crickets again?>

OOC: Do we have another door to check, or are we going down the stairs? I'm assuming the game map is up to date, and it shows a door and a bit of passage to explore, so perhaps the stairs can wait?

Disappointed in the lack of magical pixie dust, Vsaati skulks out of the room and checks the corridor for traps as it goes east and turns north.

  Are we finished with the little ones? May we continue on? Elboc says as he watches Vsaati move down the corridor.

Plathstream nods. "Please, let's." He is still pulling the semi-reluctant halfling.

Vsaati is unable to find a trap of any sort as she continues around the corner.  At the end of the passage, three ceramic urns stand, about waist height each.  To the right (east) stands an open doorway, apparently without a door, leading into a 20 foot by 20 foot room, the floor of which is entirely covered with a slimy substance that is green.

Plathstream points to the slime. "The slime the pixies spoke of. Do not touch it."

He inspects the urns before anything else.

Plathstream finds that one of the three uruns is filled with sand, and the other two are empty.

Albricht stays outside the room and watches as Plathstream inspects the urns. "Yup. Urns. Pretty much what I expected. With so much sand outside it's only natural they would want to bring the outside in. It's a feature."

"Such an odd collection of things in this place.  One wonders how they all manage to get along...or maybe they don't", Sherborne comments.  "I wonder if there is a way to get rid of that slime.  Clearly none of the...inhabitants shall we say...bother with it."

Would dumping the sand on it do anything?

Plathstream strokes his chin. "I certainly think it's worth a try. Perhaps we can create a path over the slime."

That was my thought as well.

Silverglade lifts one of the urns. "Let's find out," he says, as he throws the contents over the slime.

The sand fans out over the slime on the floor, and as soon as it makes contact, sections of the slime rise up and begin to surge toward the door and Silverglade.  It isn't moving very fast, but is moving steadily, drawing mass from the corners of the room as it comes.

Roak screams and jumps back into the last room.

Plathstream winces and says, "The halfling has the right of it--retreat!"
