Mardax Kaldor:
Mardax went up to his room, and once he and bridal were inside, he finally opened the letter, reading its contents, and thinking over the nights happenings.

Mardax reads the letter and knows its content to be true as its signature is only from one man who always discloses himself with the signature Both in Arms. The seal is also from his house. There is no doubt that this letter come from family.

OOC: we do not have a family chart up for you yet so I could not use a proper name witch is fine for now but to continue, and for it all to make sense we must finish for family tree ASAP

Re: IC: Celebration of all Celebrations

The night pass without incident. Most do not sleep well with the thoughts of the 'enemy within their house.'

Before the sun raises Ronan is ready to travel he along knocks and awakens those that have been asked to travel out and investigate the ambushed location of the Red Twins. His is in full armor weapon at his side.

For those still sleeping they awake to a heavy knock. The sound of a gauntlet with 5 stern knocks followed by "WE LEAVE IN 2 HOURS". regardless of the response he does not reply and walks to the next door on his list until all are awakened with or without a reply answer.

Ronan is the first ready with horse in the courtyard. He is excited to catch these in a lie.

Outside the castle walls the men are still asleep, with only a few left on guard.

Mardax read the letter, let bridal read and they went to rest.  The next morning, bridal went to prep the men for travel, while Mardax requested an audience in private with the lord and lady.

Re: IC: Celebration of all Celebrations

Ser Godfrey was frequently an early riser as he liked to train in the early morning hours before most of the Ravenhowe household woke up.  Thus Ronan did not get an answer from Ser Godfrey in the morning because Ser Godfrey was already in the courtyard engaging in a little early morning weapon practice with his squire and son Oliver.  Ser Godfrey heads back to his room to quickly wash and change just as Ronan is heading down to the courtyard to ready his mount.  Soon after, Ser Godfrey returns "ready for battle" to the courtyard as Oliver brings forth his mount as well as Ser Godfrey's mount.  Not long after that, the various members of the Raven's Claws make their way to the courtyard to prepare for departure.  As they do that, their respective squires head to the kitchens to retrieve "portable breakfast rations" that can be eaten in the saddle on the way to the alleged ambush site.

Ashara rises and yawns; she hadn't slept well. Still, she was irritatingly cheerful. "Rise and shine, sister, we've got guests to take care of. And we've got study, chores, needlework, lots to do!" she sings out cheerfully.
"Well, there's nobody caught in the traps, and I'm not tied up with some sinister Red Priest leering at me, so I guess the Twins didn't try anything. Still, better safe than sorry" she says to Jadis. She busies herself picking up some of the traps before any of the servants end up skewered.

Re: IC: Celebration of all Celebrations

Ser Hassan himself had been praying in the sept before dawn in full armor, he prayed to each aspect for some time. Paying each equal devotion but falling upon the warrior last. "I pray to you the father, so that my judgement today may be sound and true, that I may never stray, so that I may look over my men as their own fathers would, that I can bring them home to safety, to the loving arms of their families." He stood up and walked along to the next aspect, the mother. "Mother I beg you for your compassion, that I may show my enemies the mercy they deserve in your eyes, and so that I may receive mercy in turn." He moved to the next statue, the Maiden, "Maiden here my prayers, I speak to you for the safety of my Daughter Fatimah, so that she may remain safe in your embrace." Standing up he kissed the statue of the maiden upon her cheeks. Hassan moved and prayed upon the anvil that represented the smith. "To you I plead that my armor stays strong, and protects me as I search for the truth." He saw the lantern that represented the crone and lit a small candle with in it, "Guide me today as I scour Dorne, and shed light upon these heathens, determine lies, from the truth." It was then that Hassan came upon the warrior, "Warrior guide my spear, make my aim true, and my strategy sound, that should this day come upon us, allow me to become your servant upon this ground, and that now enemy may strike us down." Standing up he said in an echoing voice, "Praise the Seven!"

Taking his gear he left the sept and walked out onto the training ground to see Godfrey and his natural born son Oliver. "Good morning Gentlemen," he said to the two of them. "Oliver your form is shaping up quite nicely, keep up the hard work and you'll be dropping your father on his ass in no time."

Re: IC: Celebration of all Celebrations

The sun has just creep-up over the horizon, the ground is quickly drying from the early morning dew and the horse and men are just about ready to leave.

Ronan is mounted and looking about "Were is Makarios and his hunters we may need them if we have to track any bandits." Ronan seem to be mad at the world again. He hates to leave the castle with the Twins still around and doesn't want to loss time in the ride out to the site.

Lord Perros and Lady Tansa are not present in the courtyard, and the lord has instructed Ronan to take the lead on this venture to the ambush site.

The element of surprise will be lost if the group doesn't head out now before the rest awaken. "If there is anyone missing they will have to catch up," giving the finial command Ronan raise is right hand and waves it forward "RIDE, ... " The gates quickly open and those present follow him out of the courtyard and past the main gates.

To the left of the road as the men head out are several of the Twins men unprepared when seeing the horse ride pass, some seem startled and others confused.

Already up, and back to work checking the specifics of the wounded man Master Archibald has his door open before it can be pounded on, offering a polite thanks for the service.

”Thank you Ronan, I will be ready to depart presently.”  Weather a lie, or simply a misconstruction of the term presently and the concept of time the Maester is very nearly the last one ready to depart, having so many things to set in motion before abandoning the direct supervision of the now more comfortably resting and recovering man, and managing to pack him away into the relative safety of the wagon for transport back to the site of the incident, where his knowledge may be of use even without words.

Jadis yawned and stretched, then laughed. "<Royalred>Yeah.. but you know how it is. If we'd just gone to bed we would've woken tied to stakes and about to be set on fire.</Royalred>" She started clearing up the traps, piling the lethal metal into a heap in the corner. "I'm going with the expedition to that supposed ambush site, okay? Brutus needs his walksies and I feel like stretching my legs. Also, I just have that itch, you know?" She gathered her supplies, including a thick book. "Will you be fine without me?"

Ser Hassan Ravenhowe:
Taking his gear he left the sept and walked out onto the training ground to see Godfrey and his natural born son Oliver. "Good morning Gentlemen," he said to the two of them. "Oliver your form is shaping up quite nicely, keep up the hard work and you'll be dropping your father on his ass in no time."

With no small amount of fatherly pride mixed with the pride of being his squire's mentor, Sir Godfrey replied in an amused tone, "Good morning brother, nice of you to encourage the boy.  I'm sure one day he may do just that... but not quite yet.  Still it will be quite a moment to remember... I can still recall when we were younger the first time I managed to knock your ass down Hassan.  Granted you made me pay for it several times over, but the day the student becomes the teachers is always a special one."  Ser Godfrey gave his older brother a friendly wink and then directly Oliver to ready the mounts.

Ronan Kolwyn:

To the left of the road as the men head out are several of the Twins men unprepared when seeing the horse ride pass, some seem startled and others confused.

Ser Godfrey, his visor up, gave the startled Red Twin men a warm smile and a friendly wave as he, his brother, and their knights rode out into the early dawn.

Ser Godfrey discretely directed a couple of his Raven's Claws to keep their eyes open on the Red Twin men, to make sure none of them seemed to organizing some sort of hostility or perhaps even a pursuit.  Godfrey did not expect them to act so brazenly but it never hurt to be prepared.

Re: IC: Celebration of all Celebrations

Ashara laughs along with her sister. "True enough. I certainly wouldn't put it past the Red Twins, and I'm taking no chances while they are around" She neatens up the pile of traps Jadis left. Just because her sister was playing with dangerous killing machines was no reason to be messy about it.
"Aww, going to leave me all alone with the Red Twins?" Ashara replies, pouting, when Jadis says she's going along on the expedition. "You just want to get out of needlework" She hated to be parted from her sister under these circumstances, with Jadis going into unknown danger and herself stuck with the twins.
"I'll be all right, even with the twins prowling about." Ashara takes one of her throwing knives, tosses it up and catches it. She was a Dornish girl, and not completely helpless. "But I know how you can get, so promise me you'll stay out of trouble on the expedition! Uncle Hassan can't watch you and keep his eye out for trouble." She sighed, clearly worried. "I should go pray for the expedition... this whole thing doesn't feel right. Take care of yourself!" She hugs Jadis goodbye.

The morning sun can be seem raising over the rocky terrain. Soon after the men have been seen off to investigate, two men-at-arms from the Amaranth Dawn camp site have entered and made their way to the quarter of the Twins. Quickly after there arrival they leave back to the camp site outside the castel and the men are now breaking camp.

After about an hour Ariel & Isa leave their room and enter the dining hall. Ariel appearing troubled or nervous once again. Isa makes her way with her brother to the table were the Lady of House Kolwyn and family tend to eat.

Isa scans the room closely "My Lords and Ladies thank you for the hospitality after we eat we should head back home. I will make sure our lord knows of your generosity on our travel here to your home."

Re: IC: Celebration of all Celebrations

Ashara bathes and dresses formally before heading down to breakfast; she has guests, after all. She is careful to arm herself with her throwing knives before she left.

She joins her mother and father at the table and sits down. "Good morning, my lord father, my lady mother. I hope all is well" she says warmly

Ashara regards Ariel and Isa curiously when they come up to her parents. "Thank you, Isa, we take pride in our hospitality" she says courteously.
I wonder why Ariel is so upset... and why they are leaving right now. Why arrive so strangely just to leave immediately after? Do they know about the expedition? I hope not... "Must you leave so quickly? You have only just arrived..." she said to Isa and Ariel, hoping their reaction might reveal why they were leaving so quickly.

Clearly Ariel is an agree man, he seems to always get easily unset. It reminds you of a young servant boy that would give tantrums when things didn't go his way or was told no. Also he sticks to his sister like a child would his only parent. You understand why many believe they are lovers, especially the way Isa talks to him.

Isa replies to Ashara, "No love we can not stay, pressing matters have called us this far and we must return to our lord, he waits us." Then speaking to the Lord & Lady of the house, "As we said on our arrival we only came this far to leave you our gift and to rest comfortably, safely for the night."

"The young pretty bastard girl I don't see here? Is she well? Perhaps to much wine at the feast, I was very interested in speaking with her again," she scans the rooms once again.

"Its child's play and I will have no more of it, sister let us he gone with this place." He then bows his head to the lady and lord, Isa follows his lead.

He eats in silence, watching the twins leave, then giving a smile to Ashara, offering her the seat next to him.

Jadis, back in her leathers, watches from a small alcove as the twins leave. She gives a roll of her eyes and sticks her tongue out at the twin's back as they live. Throwing Ashara a jaunty salute and giving a servant a few instructions as to supplies and horse, she takes a round about trek to the castle's postern gate. Once the servant has arrived with her steed, she saddles up and takes off after the scouting party.

Ashara is taken aback by Ariel's rudeness, unsure of what she had done to provoke him. " Even a child knows better than to insult his host's daughter. If this is child's play, you are quite inadequate for the task." she shoots back
In a more polite tone, she adds "Farewell, Isa."
After the Twins have left, Ashara waves to Jadis as she leaves.

Ashara returns Mardax's smile, and walks over to him. She curtsies in greeting. "My lord, I hope you are well this morning. All rested and ready to dance today?" she said.

Kissing her hand, then turning to her parents. He bowed.

"Thank you my Lord and lady.  I hope to see you soon, but if not, I think I shall see you at the wedding."

With another look at Ashara, he leaned in to kiss her cheek, and whispered something.  Then, he left the hall, found his men and departed.
