Just saw something interesting. In the players wanted forum is a request for a samurai warlord game which 2 sides compete against each other for control. It's based on a book. I have never played with these players but was thinking of a group from this game gathering and working together. Looking to play what seems to be the bad guys. I don't have that much info but the link is below. If 5 to 6 here are interest I would be willing to try this game out.

Well I know there are many that have been waiting for this to come alive and YES its here.

The Northern Campaign is still being worked on, BUT many of the basics is up and ready. SO with that said, ..... I am officially requesting players.

Now basically the same rules apply to the Northern Campaign. New players can not be head of a house, the good news is that everyone from this game is not considered a new player so you can all work on who should be and or wants to be the head of their houses.

The next good thing is that you can also come from other existing houses and even do a house creation for them if you want. That's right if you want to be from House Ashwood you can. There are a few rules and they will be followed closely.

Lastly and most importantly I don't want to see this game end or die out so PLEASE take into account that you will be playing 2 or more PCs in different games, but the same setting. ALSO PLEASE don't favor one more then the other - I really want both games to continue. I just think when there is a stall like this week the other game may motivate to get more posting in general.

OK lets do this, with the holiday weekend I on-line from now until Monday :)

I am only looking for Co-GMs & those interested in the game's development and helping with the rule clarifications of the game for right now. It's a space rpg and heavy combat game, so it needs to flow real easy. Become there is going to be a lot of fighting of some kind in every episode of the game, it need help with its ship combat, setting development and related issues ..... its just the nature of the setting.

I have created the Star Blazers PBP game with tons of info. I still need some finial help with the game development. I found that the Green Ronin system worked so well for a play by post Games of Thrones here on RPoL (so far), ..... I made some changes to it and used it as the character creation for this game.

My first request will be here amongst some of the better RPoL players I have had the honor of RPing with.

Years ago, Prince Matabei was dispossessed of his right to rule by his uncle, Lord Kenshin, following the mysterious death of Matabei's father.

Now, in the dead of night, on a fog-shrouded coast, the prince returns to Tsuke, his former kingdom.  During the coming days, he must investigate the province, locate Lord Kenshin's troops, and determine who is for him and who is against him. At the same time, Lord Kenshin will be fighting to keep control in a land that has come to hate him.

Note: The plot is largely adapted from an obscure 1980's Dungeons and Dragoons childrens book - a "Choose Your Own Adventure/Endless Quest/Fighting Fantasy" style of book called "Warlords: An Oriental Adventures Gamebook". It was a part of the "1 on 1 Adventure Gamebooks" system that was unique in that it allowed 2 readers to battle against each other by following along in two different (yet connected) books. For the purposes of this game, while there is 2 main figures, other players are allowed to join the game in additional roles, either as loyal soldiers of one of the two main figures, or possibly as characters with their own separate motivations.

So I have successfully start a new game, very simple L5R based game with very simple rules and very open play style much like you have come to enjoy on this game.

I started this to get me back into GMing and will be doing more as I go.

We have 6 players so far and I only have room for 6 more players. 2 of the 6 must be the leaders of the groups. If interested every player here is great and I would love to have you.

By the way this is a one shoot deal. I has prepared about 30 encounters and then it ends. The game is completed, spelled out, like a module so there is not down time. Take a look and see if you like. if this works I have 2 more just like it.

Hey everyone!

One of my old games is getting a restart.  It is link to another game

It takes place in the Westernlands, shortly after Roberts Rebellion.  However, it has an interesting little premise, of us all being part of the 'Moatlands'.  It was a great house (sorta), and after the war, the Lord and his Heirs died.

The game is about the Banner Houses of the Moatlands.  Lots of Inrigue, combat, RP.

I don't believe ATM there is any room for new houses.  However, there are plenty of room for players in those houses.  Come take a look (I believe the old RP's are still up if you want to take a look at it's original game.).
