so going to post the same thing i did in the other game, ...

Well, to be honest I was not sure what to expect. Happy that you guys and gals are still around, and even interested.

My deepest apologizes, never thought it was going to happen or take so long to clear up.

For those that did not know my father in law was fighting cancer and I had to step up for my wife and family.  I know I tried to come back a few times and each time I tried more would trip me up, from getting a new job, to new job change of management. Even PC crapping out, still need to replace that as well.

So all in all I don't want to promises anything but I would like to start chatting and starting small with some updating threads and PC sheets.

if interested let me know, or we can just chat about general ideas and the game in general.

Okay for my character she wants to bang hot gals and get her gold from home, when she can, to live on. Pretty simple desires she is a Small Folk not noble so her plans are proportional to her lowly station.

I never really got into this one. You can kill Altair off. The other two games I enjoyed. I am a Northern lad!

Hey guys, I'm in the process of joining the game, just wanted to introduce myself.

I think I'd very much like to keep Acired but maybe import her to a more cosmopolitan environment like King's Landing or perhaps Dorne.  Anywhere a girl of her family status and history might find interesting roleplay, or perhaps as a 'fish out of water' Velaryon situation where her tomboy tendencies must deal with stifling courtly life.

Not sure what you're going to do yet, so I am openly listening and waiting.

The third thread hasn't appeared back yet for me. It was based on Kings Landing. I think I would like to continue that one also. If I were to continue in this game, it would have to be a totally different character.

Well, while I like my character, and the RP I have done... I wasn't sure where my character was going in terms of the game.  He didn't interact to much with the others, because they were not essential to his goals, with the possible exception of Ashara.  He did want to court her, thinking it would be a benefit to his own house, giving him ties to a few and because she is a PC :)

But, with one of my merits being taken away for a while (yes, it seemed to have some plot attached, but never seemed to come up much), his brother maybe having to deal with assassins, and the vague clues.. I just wasn't sure where to really take it.

Honestly I think there were WAY TOO MANY houses and subgames.

Place people in ONE city, one tight set of locations, make them play together, and give them enough rope to hang themselves!  LOL!

I agree I plug into any game she has that kind of background, so one house and one city might be good.

I agree with Acirid also. I just couldn't get into the last round.

There are plenty of places like Old Town you could use other than King's landing which is kind of stench anyway. ^_^

Well, as we are all part of Dorne (or a good deal of us, anyway, I know there was a Reach house or two), Why not play there?  Originally, I thought it was going to be 1-2 houses... and everyone was going to play off those two.  When the game got started there was Ravenhowe, Kolwyn and my own... and I hadn't expected mine to come up much, seeing as I was a visiting noble looking for a wife.

Now, there are allot more then that (Not including the NPC houses, which added to the setting, like the Red Twins).  I don't mind it moving to a local, but there needs to be reason we stay together... I mean, I headed off because of a letter I got... but had I known that Kolwyn and Ravenhowe and everyone else were going to the exact same place, I would have hung out with them, and traveled with them.  But since Ravenhowe was going to investigate an ambush site, and Kolwyn wasn't going anywhere, I left to pursue my brothers letter.

It was only later that I ran into them near the town I was headed too, after nearly being killed.

Like I said, the RP I had been doing, I was enjoying quite a bit.  It was deep and moving and enjoyable, with moments of tense action, and subtle intrigue.  But, I think there was too much going on (which I can respect.. there are always plots going on against various people for various reasons), but for a post by post game, it doesn't lead to a very interactive story.

Well the group was to go to Kings landing, that was always going to be in the storyline so you will get what you are looking for. OR at least should be :)

That game will be the last i restart only because it a completely different storyline base on the same timeline. And that one will take a lot more thinking through since is all about the royal line and its un-written history.

I like were the conversation is going let try to pan out some of these idea and detail one by one.

If you have to place one thing on top what would that be and we can start there.

So about restarting, ...........

The first thing i think should happen is a double check on PCs sheets so we can fill in any missing information.

The a recap on PC history before IC and relationship they have with NPCs and fellow PCs.

Once we have this I can read up again and get myself re-familiar with who's who and work from there.

Post will not be as intense as before, it could get there as we get into the game, but I have limited time still. So posting rate will drop to about twice a week at the start and hopefully work its way back up to daily.

I have already said, Altair Fowler is dead. He did not get into this campaign. You did not need a scout. So if you need him outside the centre circle as a rogue he could leave the official court. He was trained as a rogue and could return. Otherwise he is dead.

I started a 3.5 game and been surfing around and saw some old players floating in games.
